Great interview guys. Bishop’s Jakes natural response to your questions are honest and he’s not sugarcoating any topic which is why I enjoy listening to him speak even if his off comments offends me. He is so an inspirational Bishop. And I have listen to him for years. I even purchased his books. But I enjoy his speaking better than so enjoy reading his books. From my perspective, and this is just for me. The notion to believe that every book should be read is truly a myth because personally I enjoy some speakers speaking voices better than I enjoy reading their books. And vice versa, there are some authors books I really enjoy reading better than I enjoy listening to them. Now I am not a journalist to comment, but I will comment this statement. I enjoy listening to Bishop Jakes better than I enjoy reading his book because his animated expressions are more affective and most enjoyable. From a holistic perspective and having an understanding of the impact of trauma as well as the necessity for knowing what's in our food, cleaning products, skincare products air and water etc is because chemicals ingested, applied to our skin, or inhaled will have a wide array of physiological ramifications including mental and cognitive degradation leading to people doing the unthinkable in many regards.
As a youngin, I feel the cannibalistic nature in the African American community, Bishop Jakes talked about, is because we are so eager to be accepted by other races we forget to take care of our own.
