I'm so glad Phil wasn't under there, and also so sad that this drum tech Scott was.

It is nuts to think that Radiohead was set to be on stage shortly after this happened... They could have easily be on there at the time... I hope we (Canada) do the right thing with this case. One of the many benefits (besides justice maybe some consolation for Scott's family) would be that they might return to Toronto...

In another universe... whatever delayed Radiohead to get on stage for the sound check never happened. And as the presenter said, the headline was very different

in this kind of cases is always the same, kind of impossible to put blame on anybody. tragic.

Its not impossible to put blame on someone, its the people who don't check the stages properly or enough.

No it could quite easily be someone not following protocol

Tragic story, sorry for the family of the deceased, I wonder if Radiohead just refused to put on such big shows that required complex engineering, it may prevent this happening again. seriously, I think they could still impress with much less staging.

Why are they so desperate to shoot blame on somebody, it was a freak accident!

But it wasn't a freak accident: his death was caused by negligence. And if you watched the interview you should understand why Radiohead and Scott Johnson's parents wanted to know why he died. www.cbc.ca/news/world/stage-design-in-fatal-radiohead-concert-collapse-called-for-parts-that-didn-t-exist-witness-says-1.5082347

They need someone to be held responsible for 1) to get compensation for family and loved ones and 2) to make sure it won't happen again. You can't fix a problem if you don't know where the problem is.
