How Not To be Stupid : Dr Murali Thondebhavi

Dr.Murali Thondebhavi is a multi-faceted individual who is an anesthesiologist by training who had done his MBBS from Devraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, MD from Bangalore Medical College and FRCA from the Royal College of Anesthesiologists, UK. He also has a MBA degree in hospital management. He is a pain specialist, photographer, blogger an author of a book titled 'think like an anesthetist' . In this video he gives a brilliant talk on how stupid most of us are most of the time especially in our practice of medicine with disastrous consequences. A must watch by every medico.

Nice discussion on Patient Safety. Would recommend a book titled "Understanding Patient Safety" where it touches upon many concepts in the presentation. Easy to read and written in a breezy matter of fact manner.
