As someone with a eye disease and finds reading tiring, Nobbel I am so thankful for this!
I was hoping you would narrate this short story. As always, you did not disappoint. 👍
I was hoping for a visual lore video, but this works too. The Grimtotem lines were hilarious.
I'd totally listen to an extended commentary version of these, with all the jokes and lore tidbits you can squeeze in. Your character voices were awesome, some funny (Magni) and some pretty accurate (Wrathion).

@@TheWieldofrost no I just don't see the point in weddings; waste of money, meaningless. Imho just by being with the person should be enough, weddings tend to have friends and relatives that already know you're in a relationship.
A lot of people think that weddings will make things better or is a confirmation of love when in reality it does neither.
I’m having a blast imagining Belmont and Faranell looking funny at the invitation and proceeding to awkwardly refuse to attend.

Lol when i read this, i got feeling that wrathion is lonely. He is so afraid that he will follow his father footsteps.... well even he wont admit it, he desires happines that others had.
Really good writen character.... with flaws, fears, desires. Im interested where his story will continue.

Thank you for the narrration Nobbel! In a unrelated note, they said they didn't put the wedding ingame because they couldn't think of interesting gameplay to go along with it. I say who gives a damn. Gimme hour-long stay a while and listens. I don't care. Next time you get the chance to to talk with them please ask them why wouldn't they add something solely for us lore-lovers while they're comfortable adding content that most players can ignore such as pet battles.

Actually, we've had a description of Moira's son Dagran in the novel before the Storm. When Anduin visits Ironforge.
Lol, Wranduin was always a big reach and a bit of a crack pairing if we're being honest. But this confirms Flynn/Shaw, so I'm happy. Arator babysitting Dagran 😊. I'm glad they haven't just forgotten about him again. They just left him in Outland at the end of BC, like a lot of the others. It's good that those characters are finally back, and properly involved in the story again. Although I fear they've forgotten to account for Danath Trollbane? Obviously I wasn't expecting to see him at a Horde event, but still. Thalyssra and Mayla standing up for Wrathion was great. They know the stories, but they weren't there for them. The world is moving on from the Cataclysm and the Fourth War. The Kurog foreshadowing! It's great that they brought him back for a bigger role. The Grimtotems was a storyline that deserved more depth than it got in Cata, and it seems like they were listening at that time more than we all thought they were.

They are broskys, one of the few humans our boi here can call a friend/equal.
Both princes trying to find themselves, and both have big shoes to fill.
Also, mechanically speaking having the future black aspect siding with a faction leader could make things, hard.

As someone who has read all of the Warcraft short stories, I’d say this one is OK. The wedding was weird, nearly an entire page of the story dedicated to identifying who was at the wedding, probably to further normalize alliance and horde members intermingling. The best part is in the last couple of pages, which is mostly Kalecgos and Wrathion commiserating with each other, plus a great ending, which I won’t spoil. Either way, glad to have more lore!

Several of my characters were invited to Lor'themar and Thalyssra's wedding in my headcanon, including my main, the blood elf paladin Althran Stormstrider, and his wife, the blood elf rogue Namith Dawnblade. They got married soon after returning from the Shadowlands. They've been together since MoP, but decided now would be as good a time as any. Their wedding was held in Silvermoon.
That's an odd pairing, given their classes. Paladin with their whole stick up their bum and rouges lack of morals.

Okay story I guess, not the biggest fan honestly since some things don’t make sense like how does kurog actually get into to the party filled with a bunch of high profile/ influential leaders.
I can’t help but feel like the place would be swarming with SI:7 and the Shattered Hand, deathstalkers etc. watching for anyone they know wasn’t specifically invited or a leaders known +1.
Second it feels weird to me any alliance showed up to the wedding, we literally recently had what blizzard described as a world war and genocide to one of the alliance races, just because “several” years have passed doesn’t mean all is forgiven and imo things should have been more tense drastically so.
Kurog wasnt known as a bad guy at this point.

The story felt more like a fanfic than something a "New York Times bestselling author" would write. The way these characters talked, the way Kurog was introduced was underwhelming
