Man, I’m usually the pg but I’ve been having issues lately where I start off the game passing to my team I get like 3-4 asts with 2-3 mins left in the first and I pop my sharp take and then no one passes me the ball.. it honestly ruins my whole mood of trying to find my teammates and I just start playing selfish or just letting someone else run point. Does anyone else have this issue?
I made a pass first pg with 96 pass acc, would dot everyone on the team with wide open shots and spread the ball around and dudes would still complain because they want a pg that takes all the shots to carry them
Yup all the time. Lately tho I’ve switched up to be more aggressive scoring. I use to turn down shots to make the extra pass but now if I’m open I’m shooting!
As a PG, you gotta find that balance between scoring and facilitating. If I'm playing against a pass-first PG, I love it bc there's only 3-4 scoring options. Easy to defend.
Happens all the time. I sometimes go for like 5+ assists in the first quarter, dotting everyone, build up a double digit lead and then everyone starts to go hero ball and completely ignore the guy that got them the lead in the first place and we end up in a nip and tuck game and surprise, surprise, they give it to a PG they iced out after the first looking for the PG to carry them to victory.
The match making is the problem they need to do something where if u have below 50w% u play with other ppl who are also below 50w% cause I gotta 75-80 w% and they give me dudes like that with 20%w and they don’t care they just non stop sell sell sell

This scoreboard with white lettering is hard asf to see. I don’t know if 2k reviews these things but that white lettering with a yellow background is unreadable.
idk man the C had 3 rebounds 3 he wasn't boxing out at all that cost you the game in my opinion because you were getting stops. scoring isn't everything
jesus…. that PG is brain dead. dem the type of players i always pass the ball to and i don’t play offense so they can double team lower his grade and grade him out as quick as possible to try and get back in the game. Or even pass them the ball on the last 3 seconds and run out of bounds so they cant pass it back to lower their grade. Force them out 👉🏽 toxic but effective for the team to win. All for the team…

one thing is i see people expecting 2k23 gameplay and refuse to adjust....strength matters this year and very rare you're going to make contested dunks on 2+ people with decent strength....you're simply going to get knocked out of the animations yet people force and force.....they also don't know how the momentum engine works/understand it. also the game rewards and encourages smart shots. my biggest pet peeve though is people freaking out and expecting to just constantly cut which actually clogs the lanes and takes away any movement the ball handlers may need
I played with this guy last night and he was just like the point guard but a PF. He made a couple of points but he thought he could score over 4 defenders. He eventually graded out and of course we lost that game. I’ll roll with ya in Rec. I hate losing and it seems to happen more often when playing with randoms

Technically I was right I picked the sf. Look at his matchup stat line compared to his. We all kno why y’all lost was cause the PG bad shooting and fouling but SF was worst 0-7.
