The project was born in the 2018 from an idea of Simone Lanzi (double bass) and it is searching for a 'trait-d'union' between the balcanic and the afroamerican culture. During the past year the project changed members and public, moving from a jazz-taste sound into a deeper respect of the tradition: indeed the repetoire is presenting tunes and melodies from the balcanic region. In the new ensemble Piercarlo Favro (Guitar) and Camilla Collet (Drums) bring their knowledge and experience in both classical and jazz to adapt the arrangements to the voice of Kristina Ivanović from Banja Luka, heir of her culture, and so tying up the sound of the ensemble with the roots of this genre.
