I used trigger links for this. I think it's more seamless. In the calendar reminder workflow, wait until 1 hour after the time of the appointment and send the user an email or text with a question -- Did {contact.name} show up? The text or email has two trigger links -- one for no, one for yes. If you click yes, it goes down the yes flow -- If you click no, it updates the opportunity and calendar to no-show and you can add the notes. You won't have the pass the email address anywhere because you're still in the same workflow. Let me know if you try this.
@va_esiahvi Trigger links are under Marketing. I created 2. One for us the other for no. And I set the link to just go to my website. The point was depending on which one you click, it took you down the appropriate path in your workflow.
Are you creating new workflows for each trigger link being clicked then? And how does the system know which contact is tied to that trigger link? It doesn't seem like you can set up if/else based on what trigger link is clicked.

there is not forced execution option. workflow has following tabs: builder, settings, history, execution logs. this is old / absolute version shows. there is status tab, you can't make forces execution. But he is not going to make any comments
I can't get the system to tie this to the person going through the calendar workflow. It keeps trying to create a new contact because duplicate contacts is tied to email not name. So it creates a new contact with the correct name in the moved column, but it won't send them messages because there's no contact info. I probably need to figure out what the query should be, but nothing I put there makes the email be correct.

I double checked the query key and the url in the internal notification but not sure why it's not pulling the original opportunity Edit: I got it figured out. I didn't add the query in the hyperlinked url, only the text in the internal notification.

Just check the workflow, you must have been sending the survey to your lead instead of sending this to yourself as a notification.
