The actor playing Mark is really good at making us feel his pain. Everytime he spoke to Vee, my heart sank little by little. I hope he'll get to play a lead role in another series too someday!
He already did a lead role in "The right man" I think that was his first series and even then his acting was so natural, I'm not sure why he was not given the kind of recognition like others are getting. I love him then and I'm so glad I got to see him again in this series. And yes I hope he will get another lead role someday maybe after the quarantine?!!
I've been watching a lot of BL series in the last months, and this is surely one of the best. Just because of the lovely actor who plays Mark. His smile is so gorgeous, a mix of purity and joyousness. I could stare at him for hours. And, above all, he speaks with his eyes. One time he's naughty, the next he's sad and helpless. This is a quality that distinguishes a great actor from the unremarkable one.
*"You've changed."* No Vee, Mark didn't change, he just learned his lesson. He realized he won't have your heart completely that's why he walked away. Even though he still love you, you made him walked away. And it was too late for you to realize it.

"You said it like everything is so easy" and also...... the reason why mark want to hurry back because he's afraid that when vee pleads/say something more, he might not be able to bear it. mark dont want to be weak. so the best thing he can do is avoid vee and forget about their story. he forced a smile because he dont want leave that place with tears. since there is no scene where mark and her mother talk. i will include some of past love story of mark. first love, mark like someone who has a girlfriend. but he didnt flirt because his mom doesnt want him to interfere someone's relationship. his past relationships also never last long, not because mark got bored but his exes are. the longest relationship he has is the one who left/broken up with mark after that person go to university. since then, he got used to being left. he liked bar but bar likes someone else. and when he told his mom that he likes vee who has a girlfriend. his mom disagree. and when his mom asked, can mark stop loving vee? mark said he cant stop loving vee 😭 mark has a strict and cold father. when mark want to study at different province which is far from his home, his father got really angry with him. since then, his father become colder towards mark. this is one of the reason why mark always keeps his feeling bottled up inside. srsly, mark suffer so much 😭 i hope you guys dont get confused with the timeline when james said mark has been waiting for vee almost a year. the range is 3-5 months because when the university is open back(new semester), mark is still in first year.
The way they talked at the bar is amazing. It was nothing too dramatic. Just how real conversation is. Also mark played it very truthfully. That's how you act when you are not angry anymore. You are just hurt. Been there. It hurts like hell. The actor playing mark is amazing. Also he looks more Korean than thai for some reason😂
I really hate Vee! Imagine the things he did to Mark: 1) Took advantage of him when he was drunk. This messy setup wouldn't have happened if not for him doing this. 2) Was persistent in chasing after Mark even if Mark already avoided him and he was still with Ploy and he didn't know his ex already has other guy 3) Made Mark wait, first in the room, then to be over his ex and to break up with her, and lastly made him wait 1 year and not make their relationship clear 4) Make Mark worry about seeing him with his ex and asks Mark if it's wrong to hang out with his ex. Only to be seen later kissing his ex and saying it was a last kiss. 5) Saying he can't believe that Mark turned his back on him and that Mark's changed, that he isn't the guy who comforted and loved him. Do you really expect that after what you've done? 6) Expecting Mark to say that he has feelings for him still and that he deserves to be given a second chance (more like 5th chance). You don't really deserve the chance in my opinion. 7) Finally, not being apologetic for everything he did and even has the guts to feel bad that Mark is now hanging out with his ex. I'm not sure he feels like he did anything wrong and that it's Mark's fault why they weren't together and Mark was avoiding him. Mark deserves someone better who will treat him right, not someone like you, Vee. If they get back together I'll be pissed even though I know Mark still loves him. Sorry just had to get that out... This guy just made my blood boil so much.
I agree. The book is even worse, there it's literally rape. But tobe honest you also get so much more story and growth from the characters. So read the book (wattpad) you will still dislike Vee, but the story is so much better. I am sad that WabiSabi chose to make so short a series

Mark was confused, angry, dissappointed.... cause ploy was previously vee's great love. Being in a realtionship could make you feel things like that... always comparing yourself to the old lover, making you feel insecure. Mark wanted assurance... But vee telling mark "you've changed" ain't a great remark. Is vee too blinded with the fact that this is all because of him? And mark didn't like him at first remember? That's why he was getting drunk at episode 1. Vee was the one who came barging on his life like that.

In the novel, Mark hurriedly left Vee, so he didn't had the chance to say 'I love you Mark' in front of him. So before Mark leave the bar Vee shouted "I love you Mark" so he could hear. It caused a commotion around the bar and Vee's friends got startled.
I talk from the bottom of my heart, this series deserved more. Seriuosly. As long as I watched bl series, Wabi Sabi one of the best chanel. The story, the plot, the actors, the setting, everything are good. The best one is you put the subtittle directly, we as the inter fans really appreciate this. Keep moving, love you.

There were better options that P’Vee could have used to make-up for the bad ending note but ig he thought that would satisfy his Ex. Even though mark mostly keeps a straight face during their conversation, i can truely feel his anger, pain and most especially his SADNESS. His EYES just speak volume. He is so fed up with his heart being broken again and again and again. Poor boy.

So... the actor who played MARK is incredible but the character Mark is pretty damn awesome too (thanks to the actor for playing him so well). Every word he said back to Vee made me smile widely in pain. Happy for Mark finally giving Vee a taste of his own medicine... but also hurting for Mark, and all the pain showing in his eyes. I love him.

Fairah Azura Ikr there are so many heart warming and heart breaking chapters in the novel. But maybe they had to shoot in 4 episodes and only around 30 minutes, they left out so many parts which can be epic and make us more cry 😭

he liked bar but bar likes someone else. and when he told his mom that he likes vee who has a girlfriend. his mom disagree. and when his mom asked, can mark stop loving vee? mark said he cant stop loving vee 😭
mark has a strict and cold father. when mark want to study at different province which is far from his home, his father got really angry with him. since then, his father become colder towards mark. this is one of the reason why mark always keeps his feeling bottled up inside.

I really hate Vee! Imagine the things he did to Mark:
1) Took advantage of him when he was drunk. This messy setup wouldn't have happened if not for him doing this.
2) Was persistent in chasing after Mark even if Mark already avoided him and he was still with Ploy and he didn't know his ex already has other guy
3) Made Mark wait, first in the room, then to be over his ex and to break up with her, and lastly made him wait 1 year and not make their relationship clear
4) Make Mark worry about seeing him with his ex and asks Mark if it's wrong to hang out with his ex. Only to be seen later kissing his ex and saying it was a last kiss.
5) Saying he can't believe that Mark turned his back on him and that Mark's changed, that he isn't the guy who comforted and loved him. Do you really expect that after what you've done?
6) Expecting Mark to say that he has feelings for him still and that he deserves to be given a second chance (more like 5th chance). You don't really deserve the chance in my opinion.
7) Finally, not being apologetic for everything he did and even has the guts to feel bad that Mark is now hanging out with his ex. I'm not sure he feels like he did anything wrong and that it's Mark's fault why they weren't together and Mark was avoiding him.
Mark deserves someone better who will treat him right, not someone like you, Vee. If they get back together I'll be pissed even though I know Mark still loves him.

So... the actor who played MARK is incredible but the character Mark is pretty damn awesome too (thanks to the actor for playing him so well). Every word he said back to Vee made me smile widely in pain.

Mark is such a great actor! I can see and feel his pain. The way he smiled but his eyes said otherwise. He’s so handsome and talented! I need a full drama where he’s the male lead!!

I think their love story was rushed due to being only 4 ep...If there's a whole series for them, then I guess we could see the flow much better. But I can understand that Mark is hurt...poor baby 😭😭😭
And to think that there's only 4 eps yet every ep is only 30mins or so considering how many chapters the book have, should be at least an hour per episode 😭

Both Yin and War did such amazing job in that bar scene ! After reading the novel, I came back here again and like “wow, they portrayed the personalities of VeeMark so well. Especially War, with that sadistic look. He kept on smirking but his eyes man his eyes...so much pain. Like he looks like he wanted to hurt Vee so much with his words. Can’t wait for the full series!

the actor playing Mark(War) is such a talented actor. he's acting is on next level. he doesn't need to cry for us to feel his pain just his eyes and smile is enough to connect with us. unlike with some actor that needed to shed tears to make us feel the pain. HE DESERVES AN AWARD!!!
