    Love the canning content! I did proper water bath canning last week for the first time and made stewed apple and pickled beetroot! Soo satisfying especially when those lids ping!

      What size is your big pot? Because mine was only just big enough which made it a bit stressful

      That's the best sound in the world... I love canning which is so odd as it's so much work but I love it

      That's a good question! I have no idea it's big! I'll get the OH to tell me when he gets home! I'm no good with that! Same they don't sell that set anymore... like I said it was 30 pounds for all of them but that was years and years ago

      @@seadrum20L I asked last night! It's honestly easier to use me pressure canner as a water bath but I can't be bothered that takes so much to boil

      I think that was a fab little gift sadly she had moved from that place or I would be all over that! She had more trees than you could see and no one ate the fruit! I only got a handful of plumbs from me tree this year but that's way more than last year?

    Hello Nik, just a question. Is the fruit leather easy to peel off the baking parchment later?
    Great video by the way. Very informative ❤

      So I cut it up and roll it up and then it can be rolled off when eatting like th wind ups you get from the shops... it come off super easy my 10 year old has not problem... tho she finds it impossible to put them in the bin! lol I have seen that some people take them off and then store them but they are so moreish I think you need the paper so you don't eat them sideways and all in one go!

      @ThatBritishHomestead  Месяц назад +2

      Sure! I'll do that. I makes sourdough pizza, bagels every week too I was thinking last night while canning I may do a Sunday reset video of everything I make. But I'll make sure to do a detailed one about sourdough and how to make a starter
