Bought one a year ago today.....the best move I ever made!!!! This 5th wheel TH is so awesome in so many ways. When folks come by to visit or stay the night they just can't say enough great things about it.......
I seriously want one!!! I don't have any toys to park in the garage but... I do have 4 grandchildren who love to stay with me. The toy hauler space would be used more for extra space for when the grandkids are visiting. I also love how the washer/dryer hook ups are back there as well, it leaves one more open to put in possible residential machines.
How awesome is that? Wish I could have afforded that and the tow vehicle to pull it. Someone is going to get that and be the happiest of all campers ever. LOVE IT!!!
I have been saying for years that all trailers need an entry porch, even if it's just 4×4 landing at the top of the stairs. Allows you to get on the same level of the door before trying to open it with hands full of groceries. We plan to use our decks also to allow the dogs some more room to roam.
Very nice. Please show the overhead bunk even if you just stick the camera up and sweep. BTW I feel bad for you that you only shower for 1, you can save water doing a shower for 2. Excellent job.
Great video. I have sold these for quite awhile off and on over the years ( not selling right now so not looking to take any of your business) and every time I go back and see them I am amazed at all the cool new toys on them, and you get everything you could ever want and a ton of things you didn't know you must have now that you seen it! I know you touched on the MORryde components on this unit. Just to touch on the deck railing. You will see the aluminum railing on lesser units. This stuff will bend or kink super easy. I have seen it happen many times. It has it place do to it's light weight. Not to mention the MORryde is actually easier to set up. I know people will hear this all the time but it so true in this case. It is that you get a ton for your money! One thing this particular unit doesn't have that is very cool is full body paint. It does look awesome on them. Gives such a high end look. But not to take anything way from having full body paint. The thing is and anyone that has had one with it or anyone that has sold them for a while will tell you it is a massive amount of work to keep the paint looks as good as it did when it came out of the box. Again I love the look as much as the next person. That said it is basically the same kinda paint system as what comes on your tow rig. Now think about how much work that is then look at how much surface area you have on one of these units. Ok I could go on and on but like you said hard to beat this thing for what you get for you dollar. I will say it again great video. Sorry so long of comment.
Problem. What if you're in an rv park and don't have room for the porch? Can you still get in that door? You don't have the length for the back deck. You have to come in the side door garage?
That side porch IS the front door. Without it, then you're going through the back. It's definitely the kind of rig where you plan your trips proctively.
Unicorn!!!??? LOL!!! Bath AND a half!!! Great if you're traveling with a LARGE crowd!!! WOW!!! The HIDEAWAY pantry is RAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll keep my gold bars here!!! (That last part was PURE #sarcasm!!!) Difficult to imagine how GREAT this Fuzion is since I haven't seen it in person just yet!!! :) Maybe I will find a way to see it!! :)
When time permits have one more question on towing one this big. Have a F550 with ball in bed to pull living quarters horse trailer so dont want to take that out. If we purchase this big boy what hitch do you recommend to pull it? PullRite Super Lite 20K good one to choose? Tks in advance.
It's a totally different critter. Again, best not to think of this as a "side patio" -- but rather a "front porch." We have our updated Seismics landing soon here. The 4212 definitely has it's own great qualities about it!
Whether you use the front porch door or the rear entry door via the garage you'd need to open a slide or two to access the bedroom. There are slide control switches by that rear door btw for this very reason. Every model is built with a different purpose. This is one made to set up shop and stick around for a while. Definitely not for frequent traveling.
Hey Josh- Love your videos! Quick Question Ever seen someone buy toy hauler and install the stable boy kits (2 or 1 horse stalls) in back that you can remove when you want to haul golf cart or install to haul horses? And if so do you offer service like this? WAY more room in toy hauler than normal living quarters, even one with slides. Would be awesome if it works well.
100% opposed to those things. They're a good way to severely adversely affect your toy hauler and potentially hurt your animals. We handle both RVs and horse trailers. They're built differently for reasons. The suspension, for example, is further back on a horse trailer so the animals are not being tossed around. By contrast, look at the axles of a toy hauler -- they're further forward which leaves more overhang and more violent bumps/jumps for the animals. I understand the desire for additional living space, but a toy hauler is not built like a horse trailer. God forbid you experience some sort of accident the shell of any quality horse trailer is built to better protect the animals. An RV's structure is not built for that contingency. Then, there's the exchange of odors from the loading area through the living areas nearly any future buyer is not going to appreciate. As someone that also represents used RVs with daily frequency I can say with experience it does not take much for a prospective buyer to begin seeking thousands off your asking price. It's a neat idea in theory. It's a poor idea in practice.
Well noted. Didnt even consider the safety aspect! Was totally enamored by the concept....Maybe one day someone will make one to safely support hauling horses. Thanks to your feedback I'll happily keep my living quarters and use my toy hauler for golf cart only. Thanks again and take care.
We will be buying one soon but we have a razor xp 4 1000 and on the other video josh said you lose 9 inches of garage with the 3 season doors. it won't fit in the 424 will it????
It's not just the 424 -- it's ANY toy hauler with a patio deck rail system (which basically means ALL of them) without a 13ft garage. I feel a bit like the bearer of bad news here, but it's important to remember our attention to detail at Haylett RV may have just saved you from spending *Tens of THOUSANDS of dollars* on the wrong RV. We'll always shoot you straight and make sure you get an RV that accomplishes your goals rather than just focus on making a sale. So when you're ready, then give our team a call. We'll assist you in measuring twice and cutting once (a check that is *lol*)
I was searching for the UNICORN DARN IT!!!! It says the razor is 12ft 4 inches.... i really like the 424 but i will go with the 13 ft garage but ill be darn sure to buy from Haylett RV. My daughters and I watch Josh videos on you tube together. We can actually recite most of them.....lol. Thanks I like your style there.
Can you be more specific? This is a completely new concept from a floorplan perspective. I don't know how you're defining "similar." I suppose it doesn't matter. Fuzion has their high points. Seismic has their high points. They're not the same high points. Every product is the best for a different reason. Our new Seismics will be rolling in soon (hopefully), so perhaps when you're able to review one of those videos you'll be able to see where each product shines. Once you know what they each do, then you can decide for yourself which is best for you! If we didn't believe in both brands having strong value for the right customer, then we certainly wouldn't carry something this big/expensive just for the fun of it!
Can you please do a video on the pros and cons of full body paint. I am purchasing in about 4 or 5 months and that is the only thing I am uncertain about. If you already did one please forgive me. LOL
*PROS:* * First, THE LOOK! Man does it look great! Frankly, this is the largest reason for full body paint. It's *MOSTLY* a cosmetic upgrade. * Sun Resistance: Like the paint on your car paint on an RV will be less inclined to peel/fade/oxidize. Obviously customers in "Sun country" need to take a little more care in keeping their unit UV protected. *CONS:* * The cost. It's anything but cheap. *MIGHT* also affect your RV insurance rates due to the difficulty in getting color-matched parts. RV Insurance can vary WILDLY from different providers in different states. * Repairs can be tricky. New RVs will ship with small bottles of touch up paint, but after a few years it can be difficult to *perfectly* color match a potentially scuffed location.
So I am struggling to decide on a toy hauler and need help between the Fuzion the Seismic or maybe the road warrior. I have a Jayco Pinnacle Flws now and love it but really need a toy hauler I think. Any help would be appreciated.
We have a wave of Seismics rolling in, so be sure to subscribe here and do some more up to date learning on them. I don't have a lot of footage on them in our library of videos here (which is amazing considering I have over 3,200 videos and climbing right now). Both Seismic and Fuzion are amazing. What's impressive is despite the significant budget both have spent they're VERY different, but never in any way that *REALLY* matters. That's why you're having trouble deciding between the two: They're BOTH amazing. It's just a matter of which one speaks to you a little more personally. An analogy I use a lot lately is "From a DNA standpoint Humans and Orangutans are 97% the same... but look what a THREE PERCENT difference can do!" RVs from different brands are a lot like that. They're 97% the same. It's the 3% that defines them.
Josh when you get a free minute lol could you tell me if the slide out for the Stove and Fridge facing front (where the porch is) is the same size in reverse as in the 417? height, width and depth. :) my brother does blueprints btw or if you could send me the blueprints for the 424 and the 417 because it seems to me where there is a will there is a way :)
Cheryl I need you to reach out to our sales team for requests like this unfortunately. I would happy hop out if my job allowed me right now, but a lot of incoming inventory + crap weather = I just am not able. I'm at home answering messages like this at night just to keep my head above water right now
Don't feel bad Josh I just got out voted by my husband on the Fuzion in my future :( He wants to go with something more custom I guess.I hear ya on the weather we live between Alpena and Oscoda MI lol

Suppose that depends on your definition of flight. If you feel Thelma and Louise flew at the end of their movie, then sure... this could fly. For a very brief moment...
My dodge ram 2500 5.7 l V8 can tow 13,300 according to the vin number and dodge. The may payload is 2300lbs. Will my truck tow the fuzion and will it tow it safely. *Your truck is not appropriate for this RV.* BEFORE loading anything you're roughly 2,000lbs above your tow rating without even taking a look at payload vs. hitch weight. If it was a dealer that told you "add airbags and you can do it easily," then run/don't walk from them. They have no interest in the safety of you, your family, or anyone else on the road.

Yeah this is the one I was thinking of lol too bad they can't do a smash up for me the kitchen like the 429 and the front porch like the 424 :) Hubby is trying to get me to buy a Ghost and I am not that enthused about them.
Oh I get it. Fuzions aren't an every day item. This one with the front porch especially takes some serious setup time. But man... if you're going to be seasonal or set up shop for the weekend.. WOW

Small and side patio just don't tend to work well with one another. Wildcat had one in the "29ft" range, but even then it was well over 9,000lbs because of the extra height required in the RV to make room for a fair sized patio.

Hey Josh have a question? Does this RV or does any with dual porches have a tankless water heater or can one be added ? thanks for your time...
Typically on demand water heaters can be swapped into existing rvs (or vice versa)
Ok I like the layout in the living room better than the 4212 seismic but it is missing the side out fridge in the front patio
It's a totally different critter. Again, best not to think of this as a "side patio" -- but rather a "front porch." We have our updated Seismics landing soon here. The 4212 definitely has it's own great qualities about it!
Only thing I can think to add is a tilt up bed so you can more easily read in the bed room... oh, and I need 4 more feet of garage
If I'm traveling across country and need to pull over for the night, do I have to open the patio to get to the bedroom.
Whether you use the front porch door or the rear entry door via the garage you'd need to open a slide or two to access the bedroom. There are slide control switches by that rear door btw for this very reason.

She weighs 15.8k lbs dry, is quite long, and has a hefty pin weight. I'd certainly feel best if someone was hauling it with a dually.
Does this toy hauler can carry out a mercedes benz amg s65 s-class coupe? Thank you.
NO mass produced toy hauler can carry that vehicle. As the name implies they're *toy haulers* rather than *car haulers*. That vehicle appears to weigh around 4,800lbs.
Toy Hauler ramp doors are rated for 3,000lbs. Many have a 3,000lb weight limit in the garage. I've even seen some Heartlands with as little as 1,700lbs total carrying capacity.
However, we have solutions here for folks like yourself. Absolutely. Vehicles like that are what RVs like a Fuzion were intended to haul.

Small and side patio just don't tend to work well with one another. Wildcat had one in the "29ft" range, but even then it was well over 9,000lbs because of the extra height required in the RV to make room for a fair sized patio.
