Yes perhaps not all of this resonates, there’s lots of reasons for this, but one is that in focusing only on one sign we are over generalizing. Individual differences in free will as well as the nearly infinite nuances of a natal chart make every person radically different

Yep, I only roast people I love, don't criticize, I'll tell you how its gonna work better, if you don't listen, that's on you. I have no time to criticize others and their decisions especially when they are adults. We tend to know it all cause we are an old souls and we learn from our own mistakes. Witty, 300 tabs open in our brains constantly😂. We will 100% keep it real with you if we like you and be honest, sometimes it comes out as blunt. But we have good intentions behind it always. However we can't stand flighty people, unreliable and people with no common sense. We may be sarcastic in that case. Make sure you are dealing with evolved Virgo ♍ first!!! Must be self aware and doing internal work.

Good video there. I have a lot of Virgo in my chart and I can say we can take constructive criticism because it helps us work harder and improve. I am a Gemini with Aries moon and Scorpio rising. But you will find that with most Virgo people will only roast you if you cross or betray them. We don't forgive that so easily. But we do treat our friends like extended family. Maybe I am just an old soul as well lol. Keep up the great work man.

I find Virgos are the most beautiful women not just because it’s my sign 😅. Elegant with an old style glamour. Old souls for sure, often disappointed in love.
We enjoy being second in charge. We don’t have crazy ambitions, we want enough, we want adventure as we are experimental and get bored easily however this can also take form in mental stimulation. We can be tricky in the sense we are chameleons and crave many different things and can morph into different characters too. However at our core we are humble, kind, reliable and wish for the same.
Deep down we just want our one (perfect) ride or die to adore and for us to adore them. We get upset that we can’t find another one of us. Many Virgos will not admit this but we control because we don’t trust and this grants us rightly or wrongly a sense of safety.
Don’t agree with roasting. We give tough love. But my goodness as the “grain mother” we feed you, and keep feeding. Virgo women tend to stay with men who don’t deserve them. Long after they have been disrespected they will keep giving and serving. Our capacity to love is endless. We can feed others without depleting ourselves.
Virgos know too much and need too little. Hence the bachelors of the zodiac. We genuinely love our own company.
If you make us as secure and happy as we feel alone we will sign up! Remember Virgo is ruled by the nervous system and anxiety is a by product. We worry a lot so if you are an inconsistent partner, and one who lies (big mistake Virgo is a detective!!) it will never work.

Aspects of both will resonate with you. there's also a more complicated answer here.
This video may seem to to boil personality down to a single sun sign, divorced of the nearly infinite nuances of a natal chart. These videos are really more about the general archetypes of a sign, regardless of placement. So they would apply to people that have this sign prominently in their chart (moon, venus, asc, etc.).
So, what about for people that have mercury or another planet? Well, you might still resonate, it's just that you'll probably be feeling other signs stronger--those in more prominent chart spots.
There is also tons of interpretive content out there that specifically will describe "mercury in virgo" or something, rather than this video which is just generally about the sign of virgo.
There's also methods for considering a chart "dominant" sign. This sign might be something totally different than your sun sign. You'll always feel your sun, but this individual might also feel a dominant sign (if they have one different from the sun) equally or more.
Depending on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go, there's ways to calculate a chart dominant on, for example, astro.com. It's not perfect, but the Ebertin method is one way to consider the dominant sign of a whole chart.
Other times, it's just a personal "feel" test. Someone may be a Virgo sun and have a Capricorn stellium in house 4 yet feel like much more of a cancer than a Virgo or Cap, because of the dominance in a house traditionally ruled by Cancer. Some might heavily identify with multiple signs. It’s all dynamic though, especially when we’re talking about general archetypes.
It doesn't have to be a formal thing, you should take what resonates with you and leave what doesn't.

The Virgo woman I liked was so loyal that she has had a hard time letting go of her failed marriage. It's sad. I'm a Virgo (a nice one) and we had this interesting connection.
