This would be perfect for a tokoyami/dark shadow cosplay! All that would be needed is his head, I want to try this now! I loved the video, thanks for the tutorial!:)
@@KinpatsuCosplay Thanks for the reply and in general! Totally, I always wanted to try and do a cosplay of him but I didn't know how so this really helped out I cant wait to make it:)
This tutorial is great and super easy to follow! The only thing i suggest (for people looking to do this) is to consider your height when you make the actual length of the lashers. Taylor is tall. I'm not sure how tall, but shes tall. As a 5'1 human, the lashers are way too long for me, as i can't keep them off the ground 😂 Im still working out how to rectify that but its a definite consideration!
Just wanted to thank you, I followed this video process to make my lashers with my own patterns and they turned out so good, I didn’t have steel wire on me at the time though so later I’m going to add it in!
This is actually really good information! I wont be doing an evelynn cosplay but there is a passion project that I can think of that this tutorial would be really useful for! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this! I feel with my budget and environment I'm able to do this easily, no workshop needed or any heavy/special tools required. Seeing a step by step helps immensely
From the short clip I saw of it in action, I understand that it’s not rigid, nor will things like that ever will be, but it waving back and fourth almost looked like idle animation.
Out of curiosity for the gem parts, would it still work if you used clear plastic and coloured cellophanes? I've seen other tutorials for K/DA cosplays do that for the crystal parts of props, such as Ahri's tails and Kai'sa's wings/blasters.
I thought you'd need a walking foot with that spandex, but i guess with it against the pleather you didn't need one? I can't ever do stretch fabric without a walking foot.
Hey! Thanks for the tutorial, I just made these, but mine have a problem of not keeping the exact position I want them to, it seems that despite using the same girth of a steel wire and double twisting it, it's still being too weighed down by the lashers, I tried triple twisting them but then the wire kinda falls on its' own, too heavy for its' own limit. I used the exact same foam you did, and pretty lightweight fabric. Any tips would be greatly apprecciated!
You make it look so easy! I can see myself crying maybe 3 times during this process 😂 Amazing work!
Where did she get that mannequinn? I want one to I can sew clothes
Only 3 times? We were crying like 33 times over our Link and Zelda cosplays over the past months xD
ikr?
I can use this for my mimikyu cosplay!
Ooh that's a really good idea.
HAHAHAHQHQ eqting the other cosplayer
@@gigifabulous ya cus mimikyu has something like Evelyns
Omg yes

I ordered 1m which was too much but you could also get 0.5m of fabric and just see the pieces together to get the full length for the scales :)
@@KinpatsuCosplay thanks so much that helps a lot!! if you plan to cosplay evelynn I knowthe final result is gonna look great ☺️
Came here for the "how much fabric" question 😂
Amazing!
So great! About how much would you say it cost to make these?
Omg omg what a talent. Gorgeous but I cant do that I m really upset now :'))
Yea same I can't do it either 🙂💔
thank you so much ma'am T^T this is help a lot!
Amazingg wish i have that skills!!

Wait this’ll help with mona’s (from genshin) cape , I love the way it bouncy and I think it’ll be cool instead of making a fabric one
Kda sent me here
Omg thank uuuuuuuuu ❤️
I love evelynn i just wish i Was able to cosplay her
Jy bly maar die beste cosplayer, OOIT!!!
This maybe is a stupid question but... How can you put your t-shirt on the harness? Because the harness isn't seen 😱
how do you store these afterwards? xx
From the short clip I saw of it in action, I understand that it’s not rigid, nor will things like that ever will be, but it waving back and fourth almost looked like idle animation.
Pls do other tutorial on this skin of evelynn
AMEI esse canal! ❤️✨
I have a question, when you sew the fabric, the moment you insert the foam, was like, tight?, like putting on leggins, or kinda loose?
just WOW
SOS will galvanized steel wire be okay with this project or does it have to be non galvanized?
Just asking what brand is the airbrush? I would love to make all the kda accessories you have done so I think I would need an airbrush 😂
Can i buy that pleaseee

Would Modge podge be a decent alternative to priming the foam...?
Awesome

How do you fit the harness over the outfit? I am working on Coven Evelynn and she doesn't have a jacket to put over?
Where did you get that beautiful scaly holo fabric??
Veryy detail
Subbed
Have you ever tried to put all the cosplays on at the same time
can you do an instagram post or something on your spray booth??? it looks really nice and compact and simple??
We can definitely look into it :)
are you making anything for kda baddest ahri?
How long is one lasher? Did you use one foam piece or two?
Are u using high density or low density EVA foam? Also how much M would be needed for it ?
It's different from Eve's clothes on The Baddest special is whip
These are for the outfit for the new K/DA EP, All Out.
@@samanthacrevellari6355 So good. i just have seen teaser for new outfit
Ahri next? :O
