I actually used this in a recital since as a performance major im gonna have to learn a lit of pop songs to stay relevant. Its just as important as your orchestral repertoire imo. Just be able to improvise a too though.
@@fionnkelsey629 I feel like I could play the high d, but I kinda set myself back when I messed up my embouchure playing french horn(not my choice we only had one french horn in the band at the time and my bd wanted his strongest trumpet on horn)
(I’m in seventh grade too)Practice everyday 10-35 minutes each day. Do the chickoeitz I did not spell that right but the notes are, (starting low) than higher)G,F#,G,A,C,D,E,F(nat.)G then back down( you can skip D back down but I would keep it)Do this at least for 5 minutes. My best is B( above the high G). Just keep going.
Finally a new one! And this one is so good too! I would try to play it on trumpet right now but I’m working on an embouchure change. For your next one, can you do something by Chainsmokers? Like maybe, This Feeling?
This is the perfect song for me( set out of my range but I can compensate and I like songs that use my highest note possible so i can practice and get better like I did with star wars to get middle C down Edit: plus I like the song
Trumpets can go way higher, and people can play that too, it's very possible for someone to, I'm a junior and can play that high. check this out. ruclips.net/video/cZTQjet_x_g/видео.html
@@bignog8274 You do realize that the trumpets that play in the american marching bands, are modified to have the smaller mouth piece and bells to play higher notes so a person who has played for 6 months could play it.
@Finn Jennings I do realize that, but it's not just the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece helps, but it's really the person that plays it. And it takes a lot longer than six months to be able to play it even with a good mouthpiece. If you give a band member that has played for six months a lead, they can't do it. There is more than just the mouthpiece. It's the embouchure as well. And it takes about 7 years to be able to do it and to do it well
I can hear the actual song while listening to this

I could play the high d in 6th. It looks intimidating, but if you work are enough, it’s actually not that hard.

I never knew a trumpet can go that high and I play the trumpet. I seriously doubt this was a person, that had to be a computer.
