Love bro, refreshing to see a rap pundit with broad knowledge of the scene and some personal taste. Trust you’ll start reacting to new releases here too, in time.
This is more modern R&B but I've had kwn on repeat for the last week after her song "eyes wide open" randomly appeared on spotify shuffle. She goes hard you man should give her a listen. For UK rap I'd recommend kojey radical.
Doesn’t do just only UK rap but listen to Jim Legxacy reminds me of like a UK Tems with drill influence listen to Old Place, Block Hug, DJ, Nothings Changed, and Candy Reign (Candy Reign’s only on SoundCloud cause got taken down) imo he’s the best UK rap artist mainstream and underground w Dave. He’s appeared on Fred Agains project and did backing on Sprinter too but so underrated
Music is subjective. I personally say mainstream is dead uk underground rap is where its at. Plenty of underground artists who are creative and bring something different to the table. Names like lee scott, black josh, sly moon, keeya keys, coops, and much more
Bring back the UK Grime beats and the OG rappers like Ghetts, Lady Lykez, Dot Rotten, Dolla Da Dustman, P Money and see how it fares. UK Hip-Hop sounds boring. Plus, it doesn't even sound original. Grime era was the best era of UK music in my opinion. The UK Funky house, UK Garage, 4x4 Baseline, Dubstep. The real music (not the pop sounds)

I feel like 99% of the rappers mentioned make the same one or two subgenres. I feel like we're so much less versatile and creative than US
