Their Strength Coach is one of the best in the nation if not the best. Coaches have come and gone but Suaseys been there through it all, and that speaks volumes.

At 2:16, they show the lifts done on Monday, assuming that is the session in the video. There is no back work on that day, so how does that work? And their power and leg day on Tuesday (in video), all work is on their quads with front squats and half squats w/ heels raised. So I have came to a conclusion that they do the front side on Monday/Tuesday and back side (Muscles not in mirror) on Thursday/Friday.
Any feedback on knowledge of how their program is designed, let me know. Thanks.

By you asking these questions tell me you don't workout, you don't lift & you never played football. I don't mean to sound like ass if I'am I'm sorry. There about building strength, endurance & burning fat. They never go over 225 when on the bench, it's all about the reps. That's what you need when your out in the field, also they workout different parts of your muscle. From running to blocking & even tackling. They do these's workouts in the NFL but twice the speed double the reps not weight.

Its a hypertrophy rep set scheme during summer. They were talking about getting bigger. If hes going by a standard periodized program that makes sense doesn't it? You heard one person say 5x10 for bench press and you have summed up all of their workouts for an entire year and determined how good of a coach he is by that one statement. That makes no sense at all. So if I look at a workout you have prescribed for someone and looked at one lift you think I can tell you how good of a coach you are?

Explain to me whats so important about the amount of times you can bench press 225?Why that number? When are you ever going to be lying on your back with your arms evenly distributed across a bar and then lifting that weight 30 or more times in a game?Hold on ill wait.... Clean and Jerk is a movement in the weight room that more closely resembles a linemen coming off a 3 point stance and hitting someone. Keep me posted on how many reps of bicep curls at 40 pounds we need for a championship.

The 'Yeah Buddy!" and 'peanut' references are them making fun of Ronnie Coleman. (Mr. Olympia) He does/says some super weird shit when he works out.

Burning fat is based on calories in and calories out. To burn fat you have to go into a caloric deficit. So it doesn't matter what workout you are doing if the diet isn't there to burn fat, then you won't. If your saying that 225 on bench is the magic workout into building endurance, strength and burning fat. Then your completely wrong. Bench press does work out a lot of important muscle groups. But it isn't a determinant of a good football or basketball player. Its just an exercise and a number

There are so many things that are wrong with what you just said. A linemen who has a max bench of 500 pounds won't get stronger benching only 225 its at such a low intensity it wont illicit any changes of strength. No programs have a cap of 225 as the weight they do that I have ever heard of. Football is a anaerobic sport, it relies on the creatine phosphate system mainly, why are you training endurance. They have ample time to replenish that energy system.

@123Dolemite We had ZERO kids who could bench 30 reps of 225 lbs. Swasey was the strength coach. Golden comes in and tells them to quit dicking around and demands more, now we have 7 who can do 30 reps of 225 lbs. Shouldn't take a new HC for Swasey to have same results. Dude is overrated.
