    In the last sol. It must be taken as 6 hrs as 12 to 5 = 5hrs & 11 to 12 is 1 hr more. So (5+1) hr + ( 25mins)
    = 6hrs 25mins
    = 30°×6 + 12.5°
    =180°+12.5°
    =192.5° [ solution ]
    Anyways nice explanation! Keep trying!

    What will be the angle made by the hands of the clock at 3:55? Will it be 212.5 ? Can it be greater than 180?

    • @alumi9818
      @alumi9818 4 года назад

      3:55
      Minute hand points at 11
      Hour hand points essentially at 4
      55/60 = 11/12
      11/12 * 6*5 + 5*30 = 11/2 * 5 + 5*30
      22.5+150=172.5

    I saw this comment that provided a formula to do the math in shortcut. Actually, it was wrong. Yall should use the formula:
    | (60H - 11M)/2 |
    here, if angle resulted is more than 180, then subtract that angle from 360° till it is below 180°
