Thank you for reaction.👍 "Otyken" [O-tu-k`en] is one of the best Russian "modern folk" groups. Their texts are in Khakass, Chulym and Russian languages. Word "Otyken" in Chulym and other Turkic languages means - a sacred land where warriors would lay down their arms and talk.
Azyan - vocals; Ach - keyboard, throat singing; Kunchari - igil (two string cello); Otamay - komuz (two-three string guitar); Tsveta - vargan (aka mouth harp, jaw harp), drums, komuz, vocals; Maya - drums; Hakaida - bass-drums; Aiko (Muna from this year) - bass guitar.

Mouth harp is acceptable they list it as a Vargan. The guitar you mention is an artistic stylized bass guitar. Also the the scull instrument is an Ikili or Morinhur.

Once again truly appreciate the sincere listen to my favorite group....I think a lot gets missed in the lyric translation... often seems like the english over-simplifies the intended cultural emphasis...fortunately I find their tracks to be tne times better when I just listen.....still recommend you check out the live concert they performed in Moscow last October....although at least one reactor has braved the whole thing, figure it's a bit much...but a special occasion??? ^_^....otherwise you could check out their live "Pulse" and/or "Smoke" stand-alone performances....thank again.
