Thank you Mr. Anderson! I am a PhD student in Environmental Science, and having come from a slightly different background I have used your videos to get up to speed on the full range of topics in Environmental Science (not to mention physics, chemistry, and biology.) Your courses have been far and away the most important and concise in my learning thus far, and have formed the basis of my general science refresh before beginning my research. I can't thank you enough for that. And my entire family can't thank you enough for being so engaging and clear that they don't mind being subjected to my homework. Your work is amazing, thank you.
@@anshaggarwal9531 if it’s your first time learning the content or learning something new from the videos, you should definitely take notes. Otherwise, if you already have good notes on the content (from your class lectures/textbook/etc.) and are simply trying to review all the information, you don’t necessarily need to take notes. I didn’t take notes when I watched them, but that’s because I was just trying to review everything :)
i dont plan on giving an AP exam, but i DO plan on pursuing my scientific knowledge in the direction of environmental science so i'll be watching this playlist over the next few days. Thanks, Bozeman Science!
Interaction between earth system and human system. This is exactly what I want to learn! This video gives very simple and logical explanation . I really wanted to understand how systems working, not just being altruistic. Thank you!
I'm taking an Environmental Science 2 class and the way I was learning wasn't the best for me. So, I looked at this video and everything started to make sense 😕😄 Thank you so much, Mr. Boseman! 😄
As someone with a bachelor's in Environmental Science, do not look for a job in this field. Bad pay, very competitive job market, difficult to get entry level experience, and typically internships or seasonal work is the only available jobs. Go for environmental engineering if you actually want to make a difference with some good money.
Valid points, these are common issues. I am an 18 year professional in Environmental Science and Environmental Health. Here are my suggestions about environmental science work. You must (1) network well and often and join professional organizations (as a student member or professional) (2) get a specialization (meaning gain more education and knowledge in a specific area) some chose GIS or other marketable skills; my specialization is in Water Quality & Treatment (if possible get a job that will pay for continuing education) (3) have or get a mentor - this circles back to being a part of an environmental organization (4) pay varies, know how you can make more $ early, pay can increase if you have a specialization also as you gain more experience in the field. The major problem I see with the environmental career field is that students arent advised well. before graduating Graduates dont understand the many options in the enviromental science field and how to take advantage of them. Your earning potential depends on having valuable skills. I recommend for those that are thinking about being an environmental science major to google job descriptions and requirements now. Environmental engineering is also a very good choice it's easier to make more money sooner, because you usually are helping more with development/altering the natural environment for human use or occupation or to reverse or repair ecological damage. Good luck to you @aaroncowan9832
