Wow, those battles look super fun, and that shots of entire fleet of ships sent tngles down my spine... actual goosbumps. Nice. Btw, is there a compleate ruleset somewhere we could see and build with it in mind?
Ik what you mean with the rules, though I view capital ships as more like moving fortresses on the battlefield, that would have heavy amounts of armour and firepower but low agility as they would have smaller ships defending them as well. The one axis thing is smart as the star destroyer I’ve built is extremely painful to use in combat because of the info overload. The ships looked amazing as well.
I have idea for your next ship: make a ship with a destroyer gun by using magnet's or pistons to launch bombs at fast speed like cannons for extra damage (like a railgun) and with some other light weapons against fighters for the arnemend you can also use mutiple angeld schields pushed thogether by pistons for extremly heavy armor around the center of mass . i think white with yellow(gold ish~) and neon blue would work very wel for the colour. Love your video's keep it up ❣
@@iLoveBigKnockers because there is a degree of controlability I require from anything I make that is mobile, not having pitch and roll doesn't meet that threshold of control.
i personally love when space combat has all axis allowed because thinking in higher dimensions is the best part. and on that note, under your rule set is there anything stopping someone from placing guns pointing downwards and just staying above the target? if you limit higher dimensional rotations that does not limit higher dimensional positioning. to limit a soon-to-be rant, if you want combat to take place in 3d but also feel like 2d there is nothing wrong with that but it will be something you would need to think about quite a bit.
nice
thanks :)

I think the ships should have pitch and roll, but not much.
You can only have one.
@@iLoveBigKnockers I'm thinking it would have standard mode where it has pitch and roll, and combat mode where it had no pitch or roll.
@@thefenresgamer666 Why can't you just... not use pitch and roll?
@@iLoveBigKnockers because there is a degree of controlability I require from anything I make that is mobile, not having pitch and roll doesn't meet that threshold of control.
@thefenresgamer666 I mean instead of modes, just choose not to use it. Simple.
You might want to lower your sensitivity while doing panning shots to get rid of the stuttering
HEYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
has any of your ships ever faced mine?
btw my ships all use pitch and roll like fighter jets... makes them a lot stronger than simply flying in 2d
Lol, is there still a way to go up and down
yes, you just dont point the nose up and down.
I think it’d be cool if you made a ship based around a powerful rail gun

ill add" no hinges oriented on the vertical axis" to my rule set. :P
@@umbra_72 Servos my old friend... Just joking. Seriously cool vid umbra looks like lots of fun. I really wanna build one now lol.
