I think the book (The girl on the train written by Paula Hawkins) is more thrilling and far better than the 2 movies which they adapted from the book. In the book the cilmax , twist and turns,the details of each and every character, especially Rachel was soo amazing!!.❤️
I agree with you. The book is unmatched. But one thing I do have to say about Emily Blunt. She was absolutely incredible. She actually captured Rachel so well.

@@ojaswayadav4547 that doesnt really address the issue, if you are setting a movie with a majority Indian cast in a country that is not India, it is common sense to have a multiracial cast, given that this is set in UK there needs to be significant proportion of white cast members and non white cast members atleast to maintain a modicum of suspension of disbelief, all though that might be a tall order for an Indian movie.

Movie was good. Everything's fine. But I thing I found very uncomfortable and disturbing . That is despite of having such a huge wound on her forehead she kept her hair open (falling on her wound), touching it constantly while talking.
The pain is real.

I haven't seen any of these versions....but two things: The trailers cut for both versions are totally different. English version (Emily Blunt) was a damn good one...but Indian version is a very basic and average....well this says something about the makers, what they think of the audience's IQs.... 2nd: Is it only me who thinks 'Kabir Singh' music is used here....why not trying anything new?

The only reason I would want to see this is the underrated actress Aditi; otherwise I wonder what was the need behind remaking the indian version of girl on the train. Same story even dialogues. The only difference is that sikh lady though lol
I mean the English movie was also based of on a book. So that’s not technically original either. I guess if it works, then, why not? Plus the movie industry is based on building up versions of one another. Nothing truly is 100% original these days sadly :(

This is one of the most thrilling Indian movies that got released this year as of July 2021 along with Haseen Dilruba. I wasn't into Indian movies until I watched this. Worth a watch. Please watch it if you haven't

Came here after reading the book by Pawl Hawkins, I suggest u all, read the book better than watching the movie. The book was very nice, he explained it very clearly.

This is amazing. The visuals are gripping, the background score is bang on and Parineeti hitting all the right notes :) What an actress. This is much close to her forte and suits her talent. Netflix India hitting all the right notes this time! all the best !!!
In India nobody wants to see remake,we want new creative ideas.
We know they can make better movie,but just for profit makers don't do.
The same movie with Emily Blunt was already perfect. Why even bother to make something like this? Nobody can ever make a better movie or series. Just never. And btw, i see indian people all around, but its obviously not even in india. And almost no white people in there, thats so unrealistic, this makes it even worse. If it was made somewhere in india, that wozld be another story. But its not there. Its somewhere in the uk or us. Its like making a movie with only white people who live in india!
U haven't seen the film its set in London so u will see British ppl also its based on Indian characters living in the UK its not unrealistic British don't have lead roles here

When I came across this on netflix (after seeing the original) I thought surely there's a glitch/ wrong name wrong thumbnail. But they didn't even try to hide the fact that it's copied even the name fgs but ye may aswel watch it still

Honestly, this looks much better than I expected. Parineeti looks really good in this role.

I'd suggest reading the book first! There's so much detail and suspense in there. I even can't forget the line... "One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl . . . Three for a girl. I’m stuck on three, I just can’t get any further..." Hawkins' has very impressive writing skills! Then you can watch Emily Blunt's movie next. I'm gonna watch this one too to critic, to see what this remake got hehe. But I personally think Emily's act can't outshine this one.
