This is pure authenticity & honesty. Rock on CB. Giving great substance to your vlog makes it 10000 times more worth watching than some pro telling it how it is. Thanks for the excellent 7mins buddy. Easiest subscribe ever.
Chris you are awesome, keep up the outstanding work. You are very inspiring, I like the nitty-gritty details you had in this video showing all the hard work for running the business(s). Great job, stay awesome.
Since Casey Neistat posts less now, you're my next best/favorite thing/person and super relateable cos barista. Just recently got into podcasts so I'm even more ecstatic! Much love Chris pls keep posting xoxo
Hey Chris - curious what type of camera you use for your videos. Colors really pop. And then ... what software do you use to piece it all together? Thanks, and of course, appreciate all the barista advice!
I have a Canon G7X Mk ii and a Canon 60D. This video is the G7X. I shoot in the cinestyle picture profile (very flat) then do some really fast color grading - generally crush the blacks, raise the highlights, add a bit of saturation, and sharpen. For the vlogs I'll generally just apply the same correction to every clip, but if I'm shooting a more artsy thing I'll spend more time and go clip by clip.
Awesome as ever, thx for the tips, can't agree more with the ToDo list. I would make a digital one though, since I'm trying to be paperless (I'm using Google Keep, but heard good things about Evernote too) Can't wait to listen to the podcast with Rao!
Yeah I can't live without my lists. Something about physically writing triggers my brain a bit more butI started using Evernote for my on-the-fly ideas, and I have been using Momentum for Chrome for a while on my desktop, which has a built in to do feature as well. chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/momentum/laookkfknpbbblfpciffpaejjkokdgca?hl=en
Love the Dino and love the bimmer! I'm actually selling my FRS if you're interested! ;) Side note - great advice on having the shop and roastery as separate entities. Never would have thought of that. Definitely going to follow suit once we get our own brick and mortar!
That dude Ziggy has dozens of cars including a Pagani Huayra, which is ridiculous. I like the older stuff though it feels more magical. Separating the businesses is a tiny bit more work on the back end but is worth it ten times over.
The places you'll go, and the people you meet. There are some really interesting people out there...100% with you too. Those older beasts are so much more special.
RealChrisBaca Yeah man, that podcast must have thousands of listeners, actually you guys are allways my pals for packing stuff for saturday farmers market. Love that time;)
bro, you're really good at this...keep up the hard work. watching your videos is a great source of inspiration while i get my coffee roasting business off the ground. keep your grind {& shaka} dialed my dude. PEACE.
Your videos are super engaging. The music and the editing make a 7 minute video feel like a 3 minute video. RUclips comments can be hateful, so I thought I'd share something that's not. Thanks for the hours of entertainment and the sweet coffee!
Man thank you so much Erik - I really appreciate that. It's hard to put stuff our there and expose yourself to all the potential hate but feedback like this makes it all worth it!
Thanks man. I'm still on the fence with the cars...I kind of just want to switch it up a bit. I think a BRZ/FRS with a supercharger would be a great time. A bit smaller and lighter than the E36, but the E36 is just so easy to drive and predictable. So many first world problems.

Awesome advice / tip on keeping the cafe and the roaster on two separate business platforms. Thank you for sharing 👌🏽 🙏🏽💪🏽
It's that real talk ya know.
Super Fresh & Real!! You need to know just how much you make everyone in the coffee world smile! Thank You!!
Anne I'm pretty sure you just made my day! So thank you! ^__^
"Let it drip, let it rise."
I'll figure out eventually what that means but I feel like making that my life's motto.
I don't even think Jared knows what it means, but it'll for sure make your life better.
alt title: "chris baca's in cars getting coffee"

Thats so flattering! Glad you're enjoying the vids and the podcasts. I'm gonna keep em coming!
Chris, you should do an episode on your diet and eating habits. The bulletproof coffee is slick. How else do you eat well with the busy schedule?

What company makes ur mugs ?
good shit.
Thanks G.
Hey Chris, what model car do you drive?
Ahhh. The downside of bulletproof coffee....you're NEVER hungry. ✌🏼
Does your cafe "purchase" the coffee from your roastery at retail or cost? Just curious.
It purchases it at out standard wholesale price - so in between retail and cost.
Do an ollie whilst pouring a latte art! 🤭👽🤘🏼
Awesomeness
Awesome sauce.
Really cool Dino!
Yeah it's CLEAN!
wicked story telling across this video 👊
Thanks so much!
