*Ireland Simply the Greenest country in the **world. One** of the most attractive and fascinating Places in creation.Belongs more to Heaven than to Heart.*
That's mostly true, but a lot of this drive was quite barren and desolate and was very uninteresting. There are MUCH better places in Ireland than a lot of this drive was.
How funny is that. I know your videos over a years and now you showed me the road were I was biking daily even with the typical wet weather. The sad thing is that I left Ireland. I'm in north Portugal now, so I'm waiting for N222 road movie in 4K obviously ;)

I can't quite put my finger on it, there is something truly majestic about the British Isles, it's this mystical aura that I have never noticed anywhere else in the world. The British landscape isn't known for it's dramatic mountains or huge waterfalls, but it has it's own charm that makes it truly unique. There is nowhere quite like it
Sam its about time somebody rang your bell to wake you up . This is not a British landscape . It is in fact IRELAND the island of IRELAND nothing to do with Britain what so ever . SO no need to mention anything British . You could maybe do with looking at a few history books & Geography even try reading a few .
Fantastic video through the beautiful (and wet!) Irish countryside. When I visited Ireland in March 2018, I was going to drive from Tallaght, to Sally Gap (24:30), then to Powerscourt waterfall (taking a left at 24:30). My drive joined yours at the junction at 14:11 (I came from the right). However, when I got to 14:56, there was a sign saying the road to the National Park was closed because of recent snowfall! You can see the sign that warns of this issue at 15:00. I had to take the road that veers to the left at 14:56 to get to Powerscourt, so our drive was cut short by about 30 minutes. Either way, our drive to that point and after was incredible! I'd love to go back and drive through Wicklow.
Thank you so much for this great drive. I've made a drive in the same kind of weather and also loved it. I hope I'll be back again soon, but for now I can look at this clip!

Nice drive! I wonder what kind of coating you use to prevent raindrops from forming? been trying to find a good solution myself for rain. is it super hydrophobic spray or hydrophilic?
Love these vids, they are really well done and show the countryside in typical weather.. yes it does rain in Ireland this much, why do you think it’s so green lol. One request though, that you label the place/town areas as you go along That would make it perfect

in most countries when you see the trees it means you are heading towards the woods ...but in ireland it means you are nearing civilization and back into town
That’s a fantastic drive and I can’t wait to go visit next month. I’m glad we won’t be driving and just taking buses. Is anyone else wondering how in the heck that is considered a two-lane road? So narrow!! My anxiety would be redlined driving that road, on the wrong side, with the steering wheel on the wrong side, lol.
Beautiful drive. I always wonder what kind of vehicle are you driving, it always seems to be something big, heavy and slow, like you're flying all around the world renting trucks and driving them.
Ireland is beautiful in summer but winter the damp gets into the bones. It's bloody miserable lad's I should know I live in Co Wicklow It's bloody awful.
This is quite normal for much of the year. Roads too small. Moorland brown. Mist. Rain. Grey. The occasional glimpse of sublime nature. Then it goes dark.
Wow, Ireland’s country side is breathtaking!🍀🍀🍀🍀
True, but a lot of this drive was on barren and remote landscape that is mostly dead. Not much greenery or reliable vegetation in this video.

WONDERFUL.
Jim has to stay focused on the road while we just let our minds wander and daydream!
What a lovely ride. Even if it means you can't see much of the scenery, the rain provides a lovely restful feel. It's classic Irish weather after all.
