Don't forget to email Phil about possible fix for said error codes
What a fuse that blows, I never thought I'd live to see the day 😂 I thought it was the ICs jobs to blow or the APU not the fuse
You ever get the feeling, that Charlie is laughing at you behind your back? 😀 Great Repair and Video Joey!! Thank You.
Nice job! I am confident that you will make it to a ten win streak.
Nice job!
Also, that’s very interesting information that a consul with nothing sells better than a consul with accessories. I’m going to give that a try myself!
Love your channel,it goes mr.ballen ,then you lmao,I'm learning electronics repair, and you make it more fun and interesting, and love that you always try your best to stay up beat
Thankyou! :)
Joey! You’re on a great success roll here!
Sally is happy! congrats Joey
"And the game that broke it was... Sims 4!" To the surprise of no Sims 4 player. I'll wait that 20 minute boot up time with both shame and pride
Another Lovely Jubley Bubble Of Bubley In The Bag!
Nice One Joey!!!
Thanks bud :)
Brilliant! Well done. Clever guy 👍🏻
Yes! 9 in a row! Congrats Joey
Should add the sale of the controller
Great fix, capacitors often go short circuit from what I've seen (in general, including laptops etc).
Also, I'm surprised that a PS5 would sell better without cables and controllers...
Lets go get that 10! Then on to 20!
This fuse has to be labeled with "G", like Gandalf... :D
Joey sell your consoles on your own website a tad higher then market price just cause you fixed it. im sure many of us would pay it to support you bro , i definitely would👏
would also mean less fees due to eBay taking a huge cut, also reduces the risk of "not as described" style returns!
He would then lose basically all relatability. The whole point of the series is to show that people can fix stuff and make money while doing it. Believe me I love the videos but a lot of this stuff he barely makes a profit on because of the amount he pays and the time it takes. It suddenly wouldn’t be ok or relatable because the prices and time he takes would be justified because he has his own way of selling that only applies to him.
Boom! Straight up and the job is done! Great one! Let's go for the 10-streak!
Hey man love the vids, you ever considered selling the consoles you've mended via the shop on your website to remove the eBay fees? Just a thought!
I'd much rather buy a repaired PS5 from Joey than some random cowboy who did a poor job, seconded
Sally would have to make a new spreadsheet and she's happy for the moment... Being married I can give you one advice : never disturb a happy woman
Very nice fix!
These broken consoles should be much cheaper
Great fix Joey Tribbiani
Do you write in your ebay sales that you're willing to give a discount etc or send money back if they send you their old playstations?
@roy... It is 8 I'm sure... 9 would be next! 😂
Ok but you do sell the controllers separately then right? Shouldn't you calculate the price of those into the total as well? If you refurb them well - that should be around £40 more -fees.
Charlie approves of this video.
You frequently make comments about how certain easy repairs don't make for great content. I disagree. I think most of us watch for the vibe, I like watching your win progress, and it's a fun learning thing. Most of your viewers know less than you about all these boards, all content is good content!
That's very kind of you, thanks :)
Bonus face welcome this week
9/10 nice!!!!
I never doubted you
Do you have value for that f7001 fuse?
I just realized. That name of all those codes added on uart. I recognize his name back from the PSP days
Joey, I was watching your old episodes. You put donor parts in cost of parts a lot back then, Sally is probably inaccurate.
funtastic!!!
Nice!
nice one
Why do you not check the actual fuses for continuity?
As viewers, we need to update rules for this:
New rule: Don't upload the video/episode till you really sell the item(s) and give us proper aftermaths!
if this is not what you are already doing!!!
Imagine Joey gets to 1000 pounds on episode #100
One of these days youll find a fat 4tb samsung ssd in there.
The risk reward is pretty high. You pay 150 for something that can be completely wrecked and if it's not, and you fix it with zero parts used, you only get 40 as profit.
Joey will make more money from the live stuff, likes, kickback from sales & any advertising on his channel than he will from ebay sales. The ebay stuff is our entertainment & keep us interested. Plus it shows it's possible to make a small profit if you are a hobbyist in repairs & doing it for fun.
Please add amount of hours worked, sp we can see hourly rate. Would help put things into perspective
Calling a ps5 a ps4 would have hurt its feelings, I run a mile from faulty ps5 listings that’s for the pros to fix lol
Sure its not 8 & not 9 lol
Def' 8 mate!!! 🤣
Will he make it to 9 fixes? Lets see...
Why yes. Yes he will. Well done Joey mate
No cost for this one? Don’t you need to include an SSD?
Great question and I should of clarified, no they're are pulled from machines :)
@@JoeyDoesTech Sorry to have asked. You only said about the fuse and cap.
You shall not pass
so weird people is why i can't find things sold with accessory's
Ebay
First to comment! Hey joey 👋
Hey bud! :)
If you learn something new everyday, why do you say that so rarely?
Looking for other burnt fuses after you found F7001 and still had a short behind 7001 makes no sense. Logic dictates that if you still have a short there, all fuses between F7001 and the actual short are still intact. It's good mental excersise to try and figure out your next step before you hit the ground running and will help you actually get better at fault finding.
You already said so yourself, pulling caps instead of injecting voltage is not the best way to find your short in this case. There are many more than the three caps you pointed out that could be the cause, plus numerous ICs and voltage regulators. You got lucky here, good for you, but next time, please just inject voltage and do "the proper thing" for those watching that are learning to DIY this.
Lets trust in the Lord Jesus who died for us❤
Odd choice of words
@@why_wait Words that lead to eternal life, words that a wretched sinner like me found to be worth more than gold...
