when they were answering how they really are doing, matt said slightly above medium(so scale of 1-10 a 6 ish) and chris said a 4 on a scale 1-10. then when nick answered he said that when matt and chris are feeling down it affects his mood so he said he’s currently like 4 or 6. blew my mind.

i think hearing them say how they seriously feel shows how much we don't know about someone beyond their exterior and the image they portray especially in the media. it's kind of obvious that - and especially as of recent years - there's been a decline in mental health, but I still find myself being taken back when someone who seems so full of joy reveals that they aren't as happy as they seem; makes me wonder how little we know about the people we think we have all figured out.
