nice to see some of your old gems :) fantastic model! my great-grandfather knew priller, they drank a lot of booze in france together :) later priller led the famous ground attack mission on d-day, i think this is shown in the old movie "the longest day"
@fmcVlad in peace times he was a civil servant of the german railway, in the war he had a quite high position in the territory of the occupied france, where he managed railway stuff, like supplies, logistic etc. i think he was in paris or another large city of northern france, like rennes or something like that. at some point he met priller in a bar or something and they regularly met there for a couple of drinks. quite interesting story, to bad i can´t ask him myself anymore.
@888HamilkarBarkas888 You will not believe my grandmother during the Second World War lived in Germany, somewhere in the eastern part and worked at a garment factory. She returned to Ukraine in August 1945, and in November my mother was born...

@888HamilkarBarkas888 Thank you Michael. And who was your grandfather, if you can say it. This is an interesting piece of history.
Yes, you're right, actually missed two Oerlikon cannon MG-FF. This version of the FW-190 A-5 was used with one pair of guns in the wings.
brilliant
Wow,i dint knew that.If I were the pilot of this plane i wouldnt take them out

@primativemodelling thanks:)
how did you do the darkend patches on the yello underside of the cowling? did you thin a darkshade then apply it over the yellow with an airbrush?
Then the pilots had no choice, additional guns were installed later.
Where are the two other wing cannons?Is your Fw 190 a groud attack version?
Nice Detail Cheak out my new vid with the bristol beaufighter and the messerschmitt BF 109
