As commented below use a release clip attached to a rod or you will lose that drone .I bought a release mechanism with is activated by switching on the lights on the drone .I use it for sending sea baits way out in the ocean, and also for pike fishing where i attach the lures and then release them with the bail arm open on the reel .
Who would have guessed that trolling a topwater out there in the open would have gotten so many bites.

I did the same, but attached a coil to the drone. After biting, you fly straight to the shore and then you pull it out

Bad idea. The drone cannot strike hard enough to set the hooks properly.

I am sad to see this, you put in risk the fishes that take the lure and you risk to have the drone left as garbage on the lake, for me it is not at all funny and I hope you reflect on that, this is neither humour nor fishing.

Thanks for watching and for your honest comment. I get your point and it might be worth reflecting further on.
We chose a spot with a maximum depth of 1-2 meters to make sure that the fish would never be able to pull the drone into the water and if, for any reason, the drone would end up in the water, we could easily get it back. Those things don’t belong in the water.
Also, when the drone warns about low battery, we had more than enough time to get to the place with the float tube if needed.

Im gonna have to agree but not in the same way because pontus and the crew is very responsible and think of all topics mentioned. But many people that is less responsible might try to do this and boom, we have dead pikes and drones all over the place. Absolutely awesome video though 🤘
