Honestly I loved them and want some happy ending for them... August really cared for Sara, he was just blinded by power and control he might get by becoming prince/king.
I think August is making the same mistakes willie made with Simon :/ but I loved them together I think they both feel like they need to be a certain type of person (Sara popular, apart of the house, wanting to be like Felice. And August a royal) and that’s why they fit so well together I think. I liked how we saw how complexed August really is and that he clearly just puts on a mask when around anther people (like when his whole demeanour changed in the stables when Simon walked in and saw him and Sara talking.) they were so cute tho and he seemed like he really cared for her but I think they both kind of back stabbed each other in the end. but August really needs to fix his issues like being impulsive and a bully etc. I get it was all out of jealousy and I think after his dad passed, that school became his whole life bc he was sent there after. I’m really glad they showed a different, softer side to him I didn’t except him to be so lovey haha Also I wish he had ran after Sara in the last episode and I hope they get back together next season but idk if that’ll happen.
Last season I literally braced myself for what would come of their relationship, I was so sure he would treat her like he did felice and it would be really painful to watch. They both make really wrong decisions, but I’m so blown away by how sweet and genuine August was with Sara and I totally get her feelings clouding her judgement
Look at how he would have died at the hands of Willie to protect Sarah. Then the fact he would even sale anything of his father's to continue with school, but would sale a prized painting to buy the horse for Sarah. August has fallen in love with someone not in his social status. Sarah is probably pregnant with August baby now, next season still has lots of issues to deal with. Queen may have a heart attack after that speech.
I really liked them too. And other than Wille he not for a second appears to struggle with Sara being his partner. I mean, yeah its a straight relationship but she's not his status and has asperger. I think he felt loved, for who he is stripped off all his status, as he loved her. And considering his mother's lack of affection for him, he probably just wants that. Loosing her made him fall back into that old habit completely again.

It wasn't as much about the purchase itself but Roussau ending with the ppl Sara asked her not to end with. We know from season 1 Sara weirdly enough is all about trust and thr fact she couldn't trust August with heading to the police is what killed it for her. I thought this to be quite hypocritical though. She's been quite not the most faithful either, betraying everyone and she forgot Felice within 2 days.

Yes, August is a complex character, but it’s not a real life, it’s a show and complex characters create great drama. Plus he’s really hot.

Simon, however, is getting on my nerves. I could hardly stand him in season 2, but in season 3 he is even worse. He is supposed to be that simple, idealistic hero, but he’s just dull and annoying. He fits a stereotype of a typical overbearing, self-absorbed activist. Who keeps complaining about everything and thinks only his opinion matters and ignores everyone else’s.
I watched for the Wilhelm/Simon storyline (disappointing) but was BLOWN away by August and Sara. It was honestly their season, I hope in season 3 there is a relationship still left to save

To me, they feel like the central couple of the show, with a chemistry that surpasses Wilhelm and Simon's. I hope August and Sara ultimately find their way together like Wilhelm and Simon did. Despite their flaws, I see August and Sara as complex, morally ambiguous characters rather than outright villains. They deserve a satisfying conclusion to their storyline.

I only watch it for them. They´re a more interesting couple to me than Wilhelm and Simon. He isn´t a bad person. He made a mistake that he sincerely regrets. I'm even convinced that if given the chance, he'd be a great choice for the monarchy. I am convinced of his change.
