Season 2 was so much better than season 1 they really stepped it up and made me fall in love and develop an understanding of each character, which was something i definitely didnt have in season 1. Its definitely the right thing for marcus to take his time and learn to be happy on his own, and im so happy the writers allowed ginny to support and understand him the way he did for her!

its so good i really loved marcus being centered in EP8
i was Marcus at one point like honestly almost exactly. it’s scary how much i relate because i’ve done the exact same things and thought the exact same things. the writers wrote him thoughtfully. ginny and him are great together but obviously marcus feels too dependent on her. the amount of strength he had to walk away from the one thing that made him happy just because he knew that wasn’t healthy for both of them is huge. them being friends while they figure themselves out is a lovely outcome. i just hope marcus stops using alcohol as an escape sooner vs. later.

Season 2 was so good for me. Especially them. He was there with her through everything while he was going through and when he let go of her thinking it's good for her, she came back to be with him at his worst too. That's 🥺😭
I also think Ginny's mum scared him with her Let Ginny go speech. Georgia sewed seeds of doubt into Marcus' already very fragile mind. But Ginny and Marcus just fit together ❤

Season 3 is going to be on Marcus getting better step by step, Ginny gets together with Hunter again they restart and Abby starts dealing with weight with a therapist
@@karalynnlovison1998 I don’t think Ginny will go back to hunter… I mean this is not like the typical cliche series, if it were they wouldn’t have broken up because of marcus depression, I think next season they will focus on him, Abby and press, the whole Georgia in jail thing and marcus and Ginny will find their way back to each other

They didn't end up together but they end in good terms. It wasn't because they didn't want to be together, before, Ginny needed Marcus, as support and as boyfriend, but now Marcus needs her as support but as friend, not girlfriend.

marcus was going through his own pain they love each other so much but they are also in so much pain marcus doesn’t have space to be someone else therapist he’s going through his own thing which i hope we would know more about in the next season
That’s the problem with Ginny, she seems to be more focused on what she’s going through which she’s actually kind of just putting it on herself a bit. When they broke up and Marcus even explained that he was going through it as well she was too focused him not leaving her…
@@lieumiyan8162 No but this is why Season 2 was so good, because Ginny actually realised that and apologised for it. That last episode where they sort things out is sweet and it's nice to see some character development and Ginny being likable without it being unrealistic.
Wow…this hurt so much. This video is such a masterpiece. Full on sobbing because Ginny and Marcus are just so real and beautiful. It sucks that they are both hurting and need time to heal. I believe in them but it’ll be a bumpy ride for sure🥺.

Well I loved this, I loved season two, I love the connection they both have and how they really do love each other and now looking back you can really see how happy Ginny was with Marcus by her side and how he sort of held her even though he is struggling too but uhhhh season 2 was too good I cried every episode and the acting was on point and this edit really is beautiful 😩⭐️
SEASON 2 was out of this world like the writing and stuff, it was great and how beautifully it was created and each character had something to give, they had me crying

I almost cried during season 2 about Marcus confessing how much he loves Ginny to Max. I love Marcus and Ginny together and max just didn’t under stand anything about what goes on in Ginny’s life
I always say to myself “love is a distraction to keep humans from what’s really important.” Watching this makes me really happy and it gives me hope.
I hope that in season 3 Marcus gets better and realizes how important it is that he makes her feel safe ❤

I was absolutely having my "great" day and suddenly this edit popped on my screen. I've started to feel like RUclips is my safe space; it doesn't really involve bunch of people faking their life or the fact that people who claim to know you don't really do. Here, I can be me; I can really like what's important to me (fashion, food, imaginations, love, hope, reality and what not?!) and not pretend how people are gonna judge me?! Yess this has be one of my favorite series and this edit, oh my god brought sooo many emotions. How Marcus said ~ "I don't have room for anyone else's pain" felt so deeply and how all his happiness shouldn't be dependent on one single person. This. All of it. So grateful for ginny and Marcus and moreover for~ Georgia because she taught us all how to be the "it girl" everyone wants to be. Having faced it all, she deserves it all. Grateful how this edit popped in my feed. Ik it's been 1 year since the creator uploaded it here but to not comment and let more people know that this is one of the greatest stories to ever exist would be a crime!!!!❤

CRIED over the breakup, they NEED to end up together in any upcoming seasons or i’m seriously going to cry for the rest of my life
ginny and marcus remind me a lot of violet and finch from all the bright places (the book). two damaged ppl, one’s happiness more dependent on the other’s and is conscious of it. throughout the book, a lot of it focuses on violet’s hurt and is very casual and vague on finch’s problems. then u realize the book is actually about finch, not violet or their relationship. it’s about how when u get consumed in ur own hurt, u forget others are hurting too until it’s too late. but ginny and marcus’s story has actually been thoughtfully written and a realistic positive end to a sad break up. depression is no joke and i love how his has been so delicately approached and addressed.
It is my favorite book. Love it.

that is a perfect description, all the bright places was an incredible book to read and the parallels between Finch+Violet and Ginny+Marcus are stunning when i begin to think about it.
this is gonna be very deep and im gonna probably overshare but you know what better place than the internet haha. im scared im going to get caught up in my feelings and not notice the people around me- i keep thinking that im missing something and i don't- AAAAAAAAAAA feelings are frustrating and i dont want to miss anyone's, i want to help if they need help and be there for them and im scared i won't. there's just so many people hurting around me in completely different ways. so many i don't understand. its a lot and i have to help them/let them know im here but its just so much. i need to focus on myself as well but i don;t know how without feeling guilty or worrying about others or hurting others by not paying attention. where's the line? the line to distancing others that are affecting me badly with their problems and me being self centered. its exhausting, im exhausted.
@@HesterAnadilF0REVER i get ur frustration. i’ve learned throughout the years that balancing companionship and depression/any mental illness is always give and take. the right people will respect your limits, and only you know when you have the capacity to let them in. if you find yourself spreading thin between being there for others and yourself, then nurse yourself a little, then them, then back to you, then back to them. it’s a process; like a relationship. it takes mending and there are good and bad days. you dig a hole, you’ll eventually hit water. i hope anything i said helps you ♥️ this coming from someone who is still going through it
*also, communication is key :) tell them if you’re at a low point and whether you need space or not and give them the same courtesy. people meant for people always find their way back to each other.

Damn I related quite a lot to his lines. I agreed with Marcus when he said no one should be responsible for your happiness, I felt that. I can really relate to why he pushed Ginny away because I have done that too. Marcus’s character is quite interesting for me. Hoping for season 3 to dig deeper into his character.
What annoys me about their breakup, as it has throughout Season 2, is that Ginny can't see other people's problems. Marcus also has issues with his mental health. He should learn to accept support. Ginny must learn to understand others as well. They won't come back without it. Second, she wasn't listening to him at all during the conversation. It pisses me off.

I relate so much to marcus. I have stepped back away from ppl that made me so much happiness. I was inlove multiple times but I walked away because my mental issues were becoming toxic inside of me and I didn't want them to deal with that, the darkness that's taking over me. Because of my mental issues I hoped for people not to want a relationship with me because I know that if I get into that relationship my issues will just make me toxic. I've always kept that "friends" boundary to protect them and myself from the darkness/illness/disorder I'm dealing with and because of that boundary I made I've hurt people unintentionally just like what happened to them. Walking away is always hard even though I'm so used to it. I know this won't make sense to anyone reading this because no one actually understands me but I just had to get this off of my chest. It's tiring having no control over yourself.
I do understand it. I feel the same way. But its getting better, quit most of social media and been meditating everyday

I don't think Georgia should have killed Tom either, but I don't hate it as part of the show. I think it's an essential scene to really understand her as a character. Georgia's intentions are good. Like Ginny says at the end, being loved by Georgia means having someone who will fight for you with all she has. I don't think she should have killed Tom, and I don't think she should be forgiven for it. BUT for all it's worth, I think it shows in her own twisted way that she actually cares for Cynthia, and she cares for the people around her. She wanted Cynthia to be free and happy, and as wrong as the method was, it would have worked out if it hadn't ever been found out. I repeat - I don't think she should have done it. But she's spent all her life learning that in order to protect the people she loves, she has to be ready to do unimaginable things. She's had to take abuse, she's had to embezzle money, she's had to lie, to run, even to kill. Her life has been like this since she was young. She's never seen healthy and normal living, she's never been allowed to just trust that life will make things right by itself. She always had to take matters into her own hand. And I'm fully convinced, that by killing him she thought she was doing everyone a favour. Cause out of all the people, she was the only one capable of killing someone and living with the psychological consequences. She had done it before, and although she isn't someone evil who wants to kill, she's definitely someone who is ready to do so if she's convinced it's the only way out. And I think this second season made it pretty clear that although she's confident and cheerful on the outside, Georgia is actually a really scared, sad and insecure person. She is convinced not to be worthy of love, she tries to absorb all the negative emotions of the people she loves, not caring one bit about the her own psychological wellbeing. Cynthia was in pain. Georgia saw that, and for her the solution was for Tom to die. He wouldn't die on his own, so someone had to help. No one could do that and live with the knowledge and guilt of having done that, apart from her. She could, and she did.
