- The United States gets ready for growing Middle East tensions after Hezbollah leader Nasrallah’s death in Beirut in an Israeli air strike on Friday. The U.S. military said it is increasing air support capabilities in the Middle East and putting troops on a heightened readiness to deploy to the region. The Pentagon said in a statement that the United States is determined to prevent Iran and Iranian-backed partners and proxies from exploiting the situation or expanding the conflict. The United States will take every necessary measure to defend our people, should Iran, its partners, or its proxies use this moment to target American personnel or interests in the region, the statement further added. And those governments that continue to support Israel do not represent the will of the people, the people themselves have come to despise Israel, view it as a pariah state, a tyranny, are disgusted by this apartheid state that slaughters children, rapes prisoners, commits unspeakable war crimes, commits crimes against humanity pursuing a policy of genocidal ethnic cleansing, mocks international law!
