We’ve all got time and ability to comment. Let’s get a leader to rent a few shops and everyone donate towards the rent. The first shop is for showers, dirty clothes thrown out. Then into 2nd shop for new clean, suitable clothes. 3rd shop a meal. 4th shop a good nights sleep. 5th shop taken for a walk in the park. 6th shop prayers for mind and Gods blessings. 7th shop for a beautiful movie to soothe the mind . Rotating volunteers to assist.

Every city has them but a lot of homeless do not feel safe going to them. Beatings,robbing etc happens by other homeless. I live in Las Vegas and have had many conversations with homeless due to my profession. The other thing is no alcohol or drugs are allowed. So if a homeless person needs a place to go to shelters per them has to many rules and safety concerns they may avoid them.
That poor man was someone’s beautiful baby once. We don’t know what terrible circumstances led to him having nothing to prevent him lying in the gutter and filth. Your manner reflects your feelings. We all feel repugnance for filth. Good on you for what you did do which is way better than nothing. Most people including myself do nothing like you did. At present I give money and a greeting. Thinking about how to really help.

If matted human hair is like matted dog hair, wetting or attempting to wash the hair before cutting makes the tangled matted hair worse, more difficult to cut off the mats.
That’s it?! You didn’t finish! The whole head needs to be evened out, shaped and cleaned up the edges with a razor. Then washed maybe twice and a scalp treatment for the skin. The beard needs to be trimmed and tidied up. You didn’t finish.
