Bro, it is made for analysis of beam. And why do we need column for it.
If you are working on Complex structrue invliving both beam, columns, slabs, you can add those.

I made 2 beams jst to show beam results does not get effected no matter how and where u draw beam in interface

Make sure u have applied check again
