Thanks for the video! I was wanting to do my own lift and not pay big $ for a kit. Question is what model JK front coils are you using? I'm looking on Rock auto and there are 2 different coils listed. I'm assuming not the Unlimited versions of the various models. The standard model springs are slightly shorter and softer. I am looking at the AC Delco springs. Unfortunately they don't carry the XJ springs right now.
I had a garage do it but they said..." A lot of zip ties." They would compress it and put zip ties on, compress more and more zip ties etc. until it was down far enough.
Thanks. I just need enough of a lift so that I dont remove my front and rear bumpers when I go in and out my steep driveway lol. I have always had suvs and truck but now I have something that gets more than 12 MPG I am running it into the ground literally haha
Also what do people use for bump stops one they replace the shocks with the correct ones. The bell on the shock makes it impossible to slide the bump stop on. I’m using this setup for Rally Cross and I need bump stops.
The shocks in your Amazon link you sent me in the other reply and the shocks linked above in the video info are different. Front vs rear F-150 shocks. You should check and verify before coming at me saying I’m wrong. The part numbers are different.
I didn't say you were wrong, I said these are the shocks I used and verified the order I made before I replied. If they are front shocks, then they work fine in my application.
**** CORRECTION******
Rear springs are XJ JEEP SPRINGS NOT YJ
**** CORRECTION******
Would have been interesting to watch you put YJ leaf springs into that beast...
From what years?
Thanks for sharing.
You need xj front springs put into the rear and jk front springs up front
A lot of great information there! Thanks for sharing!
Great job again, Gregory!
thank you
Found ur amazon page you my sir are life saver
Are the Jk springs off of a 2 door or 4 door jeep?
Actually the bilstein standard should be longer; sport are for lowering. Just really depends if your struts are worn or not; mine are.

I'm doing the same lift. I'm having problems with the struts and the springs fitting. Do you guys have any tips or are you using a different strut.

Now for the jk jeep springs are we looking for the front or the rear springs from the jk?
Great video!!
Front springs off of both jeeps jks in front.
is it ok to put jack stands under the front subframe bolts?

Some great information offered by Joe Brown facebook.com/groups/555752681247650/permalink/1331085000381077?sfns=mo
xj/cherokee have Rear Leaf Springs?
No, you are using the front Cherokee springs in the rear of the bug.
👍👍👍
Yj is leafs
Cherokee is XJ
Thanks for the correction
Your link to the ford shocks is wrong! Those are front shocks. They just arrived and are super short.
Also what do people use for bump stops one they replace the shocks with the correct ones. The bell on the shock makes it impossible to slide the bump stop on. I’m using this setup for Rally Cross and I need bump stops.
These are the exact shocks I used without an issue.

Sounds like your taking the more complex route lmao.
Each way has the pretty much the same complexity, I went the best way to achieve the look and capability I am looking for.
Hate that video maker keep talking a lot!
