So yes, I'm still around, and hope you're doing well this holiday season. Boy, this was a pleasure to cover. No Audacity editing or splicing needed, no weird time signatures, same BPM throughout the whole song, and simple drums. Also it's my favorite from Live at Roadburn.
I think the live version (not this cover) is still the best for spacing out/a little melancholy, but I tried to cover it decently. And brought in some parts I liked from the studio version.
I've listened to this so many times that I don't know if it sounds good anymore, but I have decided to "let 'er rip". IMO it's better with headphones, like the other vids.
Oh, last thing -- I've been reading all the comments obsessively. I may not respond, but I'm relieved and overjoyed that people really liked the other videos -- thank you so much for the kind words!! It might even be more fulfilling than making these covers...

Its 31 december and Im laying in a couch with this on. Have been playing original from an album for dozens of times but this is so new for me, feels like I can once again hear the enveloping emotionally drenched and voluminous vocals and lyrics just appear as a memory inside my mind. Those instruments, especially drums, feel so full and voluminous.

It also makes me very down even though it is 8bit. The power of these songs knows no boundaries of the emotional state of human beings.
