Test drove it. Loved it but that front is just horrible. And why can’t they make all wheel drive an option for the van and why is there no three seat option or central console or at least an arm rest? I normally upgrade to every new Hyundai van as they come out since 2008. Not this time
Epic van, I use it as a daily, mega easy to park with all the cameras. I got an m3 tourer coming and I think the van will remain as the daily😂, I love it
So looks like just about all cars they have gone up about $5000.00 for some reason in the last 2 -3 months? Peugeot Partner has gone up and we wont talk about the new Caddy. I take it they can sell them at the moment so ask what they want?
I have a 2022 model in Jamaica, which is semi cargo (crew seats and cargo area). It didn't come with a reverse camera system. How could I obtain a car play system with reverse camera?
The frontal styling is just plain weird, IMO, is it trying to look like a Cybervan? Still, probably not a bad van, interior is nice too which I think is more important.
Mate your talking about those "safety" features as though it's something people want. We don't want it and it costs us money to delete it at a tuning shop. Nothing but am annoyance and a very dangerous one at that
Shocking for square objects like bread creates! Especially with a cargo barrier as the sliding doors only open halfway so even less with a cargo barrier. Way to much door space lost !
This might be a little inconsequential thing, but those indicators - from other road users perspectives, can you actually see them? They seem so, well, little and inconsequential 🤔
I thought the new Hiace vans were ugly until i saw one of these.. they make the Hiace look good! These things are ugly as a hat full of arseholes! And that dash/instrument cluster arrangement just looks straight out WEIRD!!! I'll stick with my Toyota thanks!!
It looks good overall, and should be pretty durable being a Hyundai, but having halogen headlights mounted so low is surely going to warrant some form of upgrade, unless you like hitting things in the dark.
That is what the Hyundai owners said before finding out about the biggest recall in history. Also that is what the Kia owners said too before finding out they were a part of that same recall.
Just to add to the comment made regarding "good for parcel delivery" at 4:21. This van would definitely not be ideal even for consideration for parcel delivery due to the internal volume, given the typical consignment volume hits around 800kg or 200 parcels of up to 20kg and given that the staria load has a volume restricting load barrier.
It won't beat the Hiace on reliability and reputation how many Hiaces do you see driving around 10 20 and 30 year old Toyota Hiaces still driving around many years ago l owned a Toyota Liteace and it came with a folding back seat did take up some space when folded but it was handy for courier work and l do own a 1997 Toyota Hilux has 430000 kms on it Toyota reliability can't beat it

@@sleepyandblur6643 yeah, alot of electric vans coming out soon, some made in Australia. Unfortunately none the size of V80 so I can built a camper van. I tool LDV for s test drive and asked few people had them, at last go for staria, as LDV had lots of small problems here and there, plus I can see lots of V80 in the workshop or parked outside to getting sort it out, so no for me
Those headlights lights look dismal, dont they have dark in Korea. But then you look again and realise that with the blocky glued together dash and the but ugly exterior, Korea must be dark 24/7.
I’d still prefer a Toyota - the front end look is awful and a bit 60’s - wouldn’t trust an electric park brake when the power goes - hopefully Hyundai has fixed the transmission issues of the previous generation - the side door profile looks weird - I would still choose this over a Ford or Renault/Mitsubishi that both have poor reliability and service culture - John in SA

Looks new, modern, different. Nice
2m high but if you put roofs racks etc on the roof it is too high for some parking options.
Beautiful, Hyundai jumped Toyota on the Tarago spaceship look
I think I like the instrument graphics more than whats in the passenger cars like the Kona. much cleaner and less cluttered.
looks like a eighties Tarago reject
have had 3 iloads they should have just upgraded

Great to hear 🙂
Not being able to forklift a pallet into these is a serious deal breaker from a couriering standpoint?
Looks bloody awesome

I'd rather get a Ford Transit or Toyota HiAce. Proper rear wheel drive too and real capability

Be good if they had a grill option. That looks too much like a cheap cnc cut out job.
Well the Hyundai Starex name is still sounds great to me
i mean why change the name when you can just change the entire looks of the van

Toyota Hiace or Staria for ride comfort and noise?
Just test drove both. The Hyundai is noticeably better to drive. But my god it’s ugly
the cargo is too small compare to hiace
7.48, he states it has marginally more cubic m capacity than the hiace.
Why are the headlights so bloody low? They'll never be good at any distance.
the side window in the doors is to low very strange would looked much better 5cm higher
1999mm so they have to come in 2m
