Best metal I've heard in years. Frankly, I'm much more into dark-Pagan folk now, like Heilung or Wardruna for instance, because metal just seemed to have run out of ideas and inspiration. You're definitely the exception there, love this.
I've been loving Nocterna's whole album since I brit back in November '22! Here's hoping for a new album in November '24. 🤞

Honestly, I can't think of another band that got me so excited for a second album in at least a decade. Symphonic metal is kind of saturated right now, with lots of bands--all good--but all the attention going to Nightwish and Epica. I think Nocturna has what it takes to break into the top level and become as successful as those two bands. At least judging by RUclips, they are generating a lot of excitement. You go, girls! Floor and Simone are not going to live forever, and we need a new generation to keep the people who love women in metal rocking!

Time for another Frozen Crown vid 👍
I like this one more than Daughters of the Night. This one also didn’t feel repetitive to me. Both are good though, it’s just to me this one is better IMO. In the order of the best from the last four songs I checked out: Blood of Heaven > New Evil > Daughters of the Night > The Sorrow Path.

Such powerful vocals from both ladies, as complementary as their voices are to each other the drummer is doing great adding that emphasis to their voices my favorite part of this song!

While listening to this new band I have now discovered I thought first that I like it very much and Secondly that it reminds me very much of a band called Frozen Crown. So I started wondering if Federico might be behind the guitar player's mask. So looked at the list of band members and wow! I found out that Federico is in the band! I can hear his influence and song writing all over this. As usual it's absolutely fantastic.
