    Awesome video. It's so easy for random people online to confuse their little knowledge of immigration for expertise, even though they have never gone through the process themselves and realized how hard it actually is.

    Thank you so much for this video. I am currently in the exact same situation stuck at 480 CRS with everything maxes out. The scores are really high, 522 at the moment, and not seem like going down soon. I have decided to go back to my home country to gain foreign work exp to increase the score instead of staying as a visitor and gain nothing as well as loose money for rent, groceries and other things. Again thanks for the detailed insight and options discussed in the video after work permit expiration.

The international student career pathway or the skilled worker in Manitoba which requires 6 months of work in Manitoba . My strategy is to also have a visitor visa before applying for the study permit. I will only apply for the PGWP once I have a permanent job. Should I renew it before applying for SP so I can obtain my full PGWP length in a couple of years, or should I wait and renew it upon expiration? Hiii Rachel!! I have been following you for months now because I have about to take the risky 1 yr program and I have a quick question.
    Some says that in order for one to be eligible for BOWP, one must simply pass the confimation stage for EE. And you can just submit that confimation letter of successful creation of EE profile?
    Thanks again.

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  3 года назад

      So in order to be eligible for BOWP, you must have already submitted a complete PR Application and have received the AOR (acknowledgement of receipt)
      Creating an EE profile is different and that does not mean you have applied for PR.

      I believe you would still need a job offer and work experience in NOC 4411 and 4412. Both of which I don’t have. Plus there have been many issues with that program as it is always open for review by the immigration minister.

Considering the 2 years in canada and analyzing the crs scores are coming to be 517 . So do you think we will get pr surely or its not that great choice . Please Reply . We need your advice over this . Thanks in Advance !

    If I am in the Express Entry pool (CEC) but my CRS is below the cutoff, I wont get an Invitation to Apply for PR. But am I still in the EE (CEC) pool? If so, in such circumstances, if my Post Graduate Work Permit is Expiring, Can I apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit? Or only People with Invitation to Apply for PR with CRS score above the cutoff can apply for Bridging Open Work Permit? Please explain. Very Important for me.

    because you were on visitor status. If you still had your PGWP valid at the day you got your AOR after submitting your PR application and you managed to apply for BOWP using that AOR, you would have been under implied status until you would get approved for BOWP. Once you have changed your status this was no longer possible. And of course in order to be approved for PR you must keep a legal status in Canada. However you could have just left for a year and return once all is approved.
    PNP itself would not help (except of Quebec). You would still need to have that AOR after you have submitted your application to the federal process. The difference is that few provinces still have PNP that are not integrated into Express entry, so getting such PNP, would mean that you could have sent your application without ITA.
    The problem again in your case was time. PNP is additional step, so they can take several months to get it (which you did not have).
    Simply said whenever you ask your employer for anything more than just simple recommendation letter or proof of past work experience, expect to hear no. LMIA is most of the time rejected by employers and is only considered for higher end positions (or illegally paid or a family business).
    Permanent contract commitment is something they do not want to give unless you already are PR. So in your case kind of you opted for top 3 wanted province (BC, Ontario and Quebec), so PNP programs are much stricter there, as they do have way too many applicants.
    And also consider yourself lucky, as you were saved by Covid, otherwise your 450 points might not have been enough (only during Covid CEC applicants got higher preferential treatment, while before CEC draws only were extremely rare)

      It is almost impossible to get BOWP with 1 year canadian work experience (under NOC 0,A,B) because of the time limitations and especially these days with the lengthy processing times. 1 year is very hard even if you find a decent full-time job immediately after graduation as the job security these days are also in jeopardy (depends on the industry). 2+ years or 1+1 is the way to go as you would have time to make the money back (think as if it is an investment). Pandemic literally saved so many lower scoring candidates.

    • @vensakarakorwien5768
      @vensakarakorwien5768 3 года назад

      @@Kakiharaichii yes that is correct. Unless you go to study to Manitoba. Their PNP program accepts from 6 months of work experience in Manitoba. However Manitoba is not on the top of the most wanted provinces. Also some other provinces might have PNP for freshly graduated. However BC would be the worst choice there, as they do require a job offer, it has to be in top 100 wanted profession and they also give more points the higher your salary is.

    • @Kakiharaichii
      @Kakiharaichii 3 года назад

    • @vensakarakorwien5768
      @vensakarakorwien5768 3 года назад

      @@Kakiharaichii if you want to get into Canada any province is good enough, except when you have a specialization that does not match with that province (for example an ocean marine biologist should not choose a province that has no access to sea or ocean).
      1. you might find out your future there
      2. Just like for any other province you might move later on somewhere else in Canada.
      Just so you know there were people that did not manage it somewhere and then moved somewhere else.
      So do not look on popularity of the province / area, look on how your skills and specialization is compatible with that province and which professions are in demand there.

    live in Canada (Quebec not included)
    have a valid work permit that expires in 4 months or less
    be the principal applicant on your permanent residence application
    have submitted a complete application for permanent residence and passed the completeness check
    have your acknowledgement of receipt letter
    we send this letter to your account after we get your permanent residence application.
    My Question: Do I need to have ITA in advance or can I be in the pool waiting for decision & still apply for BOWP ? Bcz website doesn't mention that I need to have ITA. It only talks about AoR. I can get AoR even if I don't have an ITA. Please advise.

      here is the order :

      2/ you wait for ita
      3/ once the draw occurs and you have the crs score you receive ita
      4/ once you receive ita you submit all your documents

Right now, it’s a good time to be a CEC applicant bc scores aren’t competitive during covid and you had a decent shot to get invited to apply for PR. But I’d still aim for the highest score possible, hope this helps! 💕🤗 All the best to you!
