Super Contra (スーパー魂斗羅 エイリアンの逆襲 Sūpā Kontora: Eirian no Gyakushū, "Super Contra: The Alien Strikes Back") is a run and gun video game by Konami originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1988.[2]
It was ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System under the shortened title of Super C in North America and in Europe and Australia as Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces. It is the sequel to the original Contra and part of the Contra series . The game stars Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, as they are sent to thwart another alien invasion. Both the arcade version and the NES version have been re-released in various other platforms since their original releases.
A year after the battle with the Red Falcon Organization,[3] Bill and Lance are sent on another mission. This time, the alien forces have taken over an allied military base, possessing most of its troops. Bill and Lance must not only fight against their former comrade-in-arms, but also a new mutated form of the same alien creatures they fought during their previous mission.

ITCHYisVegeta Super C actually does an amazing work, but has the problem of living under the shadow of the first (which is legendary).

A year ago I would've disagreed, but after playing the two again I completely agree. Super C is a lot more fair with its difficulty despite being harder and feels more polished.

Cuando era niño y jugaba este juego siempre me encantó el soundtrack de este juego, recuerdo que había un truco para escuchar todas las pistas, si sacarán en remake de este juego este sería el soundtrack perfecto 🤘
Aparte de eso era un juego muy adictivo. Lo único que no me gustaba, claro después de jugarlo muchas veces, era que los bosses mueren muy rápido. Supongo que era una forma de compensar el hecho que tu personaje igual moría de un solo toque, entonces así se equilibraban las cosas. Pero cuando ya estabas acostumbrado al juego y te lo sabías de memoria, era un poco frustrante que los bosses morían tan rápido si los acribillabas son el arma S.

I assume you mean Contra Force? It's incredibly difficult and also suffers from slowdowns, unless you play on the emulator that supports PPU overclocking.
@@Shpendulum No it's well Contra III The Alien Wars or Super Probotector snes in Europe. My favorite and also very difficult too. The music is just fantastic.
@Lance Winchester I think Alien Wars is pretty okay in term of soundtrack. Hard Corps beats the hell out of it.

The Helicopter boss 1:44. I always liked because the music and how it was. I mean have cannons and soldiers jumping from there and soldiers comming from both sides of the screen. Becasue of that I always try not to kill it fast. And keep it alive the most time its possible.
3:53 На этом боссе нужно было после взлома ворот встать строго сразу за левой створкой ворот не выходя за пределы плитки. В этом случае "пулемётчики", они же операторы шестиствольных миниганов (судя по скорострельности) :D не могут прицелиться и послать хоть одну пулю строго в человека в синих штанишках. ;)
6:00 Тут достаточно было встать максимально влево и просто пуляя из СПРЭДГАНА в первое творение БОСТОН ДАЙНЭМИКС :D попутно уворачиваясь от его маневрирующих снарядов. Как показывает практика до того как оно дойдёт до синих штанишек оно будет повержено.
6:56 Тут нужно было встать не по середине, а чуть правее/левее. Тогда, как и в первом случае (про 3:53), в ближнем к центру положении круглешки будут лупить мимо синих штанишек, а в дальнем положении достаточно будет единожды подпрыгнуть, чтобы увернуться от пулек летящих слева и справа и не придётся носиться вокруг да около.
