The five elementary forms in my opinion are: Qi Xing, Xiao Hong Quan, Pao Quan, Tong Bei Quan, Chan Hu Xin Yi Men. After them I esay Da Hong Quan and Lian Shou Duan Da.
Amateur ? If I am not wrong (clarity of the video is a challenge) he is Sifu Shi Deyang. Look up in Shaolin history. You will get to know who Shi Deyang is.
@@Curious_NG91 even if he's not amateur, his punches stuck few times and his knuckles don't have heading as if he has never hit targets before. He is a lousy practitioner then despite spending so many years in kungfu, he is still making such mistakes
@@jayjay53313 some of those "punches" are not reall mant to hit a tarfet with his fist, but they are rather a repositioning of his body within combat application towards a more advantageos position or a joint lock enabling position.
@@spanishlarc31 you tell him to get into full contact sparring up against MMA fighter. Won't be surprised if most of his punches & kicks would likely miss without hitting anything. FYI, those with experience in fighting would always punch at right level, angle and position whenever they do taolu pattern
@@jayjay53313 MMA culture is not part of shaolin, shaolin puts deep meditation (buddhist) into combat techniques. You tell an MMA fighter to practice warrior monk buddhism. Won't be surprised if he quits since there is no mundane reward in it. it is only a minority of the warrior monks who do exhibitions. Tradition says they do it for inward inner results, and not for external praise, nor for proving a vainglorious pursuit.
