    Huge kudos Ian! Looked so much fun mate! Certainly more interested in Spartan races as opposed to tough mudder. They look like a real challenge. I think one of the GTR boys won it. Daniel Titcombe is his name. He's in the army. Think he does OCRs for teal viper or something like that. 😎🤘

      Ah, I think i saw that team short flying past me at different points! I actually don't think I could run that 10k course in the winners time, let alone with the obstacles!

    Great vid. That looks like a savage but enjoyable course. Well done!! 💪

    Well done Ian. 'Obstacle race' makes it sound like a Primary School Sports Day.
    It looks slightly more brutal than that.
    Although you didn't have an egg and spoon to test your proprioception skills...

    What gloves do you use to run Spartans please? Got my first in July next year in the beast

      Hi mate, I just bought a cheap pair of cycling gloves from Amazon. I just wanted a bit of padding for the rope based stuff in particular, but wanted my fingers free to open gels, grip climb holds etc. Where's the race?

      I have another video which is all of the obstacles from the beast if you wanted to check it out. Not much difference in terms of obstacles, but long portions of running in-between. If you can get your running endurance up, you can pick up a lot of time on people!

      @@IRunDaily Cheers! Yeah already watched that but must not have noticed the gloves, looking forward to it. Would you say being able to run a 10k non stop is sufficient for the beast or would you go for more endurance?

      @IRunDaily  Месяц назад

      @@craigcollins1296 I'd aim for a 16-18k run on some trails. Doesn't need to be fast (take walking breaks on the hills if you need), but at least two hours so you can practice your nutrition and feel comfortable with your kit etc. they're so much fun though! Jump over some gates and do some press ups for good measure too 😁

    Great stuff Ian, looked a really challenging course with all those different obstacles. Liked the spear throw, imagine that's a difficult one for most people to practice!

      A broom handle in the back garden does the job. My better half is wondering why we are collecting brush heads...
