Ricki "All my mates fancy Kim it was a nightmare " but i guess it is true in a ways gorgeous pop-Diva's have there own problems too ( feeling lonely ) is one of them. My favorite era of Kim Wilde is 1986-96

She had the most amazing and undervalued guitarist in rock and pop who also played keys and wrote many of her songs, his backing vocals are not bad either. The most spine tingling guitar solo ever, he played on Ian Gillan's fighting man (Mr universe, album, and the Japanese import Gillan) to get the notes more pronounced,he played a Les Paul custom and then copied the notes on a strat', in perfect sync', awesome skills!! Was 22 when he was with Gillan then joined Kim for 15yrs! and died 2yrs ago this month, too young and missed every day. Steve J Byrd-25.9.55 -3.10.16,RIP. 😔🙄

How would a documentary on the 80s be aired at the start of the 80s for gods sake? this was a 2000s documentary

Kim Wilde and her brother seem to be genuinely nice people.

I just adore Kim - and as far as Kim never catching on in the USA - can you say payola? Kim let her music speak for itself and has had a very good career.

Is this Kim's natural hair colour? You don't see it very often.

Kim Wilde was one of the few pop-type artists back in the 80s I liked. It probably helped that she wasn't as popular in the U.S., so I wouldn't have to reconcile my interest in her with the throngs of idiots that follow most pop acts.

@SkeeterNYC The kids in England had Debbie Harry before America

Sorry but the real kids in America, like myself, already had Debbie Harry and Cherie Currie. Which is probably why she never caught on in the states.

Shut up, you don't know what you are saying. And wasn't needed to go to the states.
