    Flattening of the curve refers to cases per day, not total cases. The cases per day is the slope of plots shown. A logarithmic plot of cases per day is more useful as it is easier to identify the peak infection rate as well as the impact of social distancing and other policies.

    One speaker says 'we have not seen a national lockdown' anywhere other than India. I believe South Africa started its national lock down on about the same day as India.

    The speakers are making rather wild conclusions based on numbers they clearly don't understand. You should get some mathematicians in the discussion next time.
    Also one speaker says that Singapore has 'got things wrong' based on the total number of confirmed cases. He should have looked at the deaths (11 as of this writing). Most countries would love to be that 'wrong' right now.
