Despite being a Todd McFarlane fanboy, I think the Issues cover art just captures KoRn's essence so well. There's just something about its minimalistic approach. I don't know. Can't quite put my finger on it. Love it! The fact that a fan worked on it makes it even more special.

Great video man👍🏻 A lot of people tend to forget or don't know that Greg Capullo actually came up with and drew the "Follow the Leader" cover. It was actually the first out of 4 concept ideas he sent out. Todd McFarlane did the animation for the music video. Easter Egg in the cover included the kid wearing a #3 baseball jersey for the 3rd album and there is actually a short adult man (partially bald) marching with the children to the cliff (in the full picture)
The Nothing is my favorite. The album came at a time when i really needed it. It means a lot to me. Its probably the most emotionally charged album, and it felt like the boys in Korn were there for me. So i got the wire man tattooed on my arm.
Dude, you gotta make more of these album art tier list i shit you not apart from concept art from concept artist and illustrations and whatnot album art for Converge, August Burns red (somehow), Cannibal Corpse and more were also huge influences to me. Its mainly other artists from games n illustrations n whatnot were influential. And i shit you not without Come Clarity and Converge’s ep with the artwork of Derek Hess’s work i wouldn’t this deep into art, especially towards his theme of more or less edgy shit lol.
first 4 records are S tier. The first is historical, the 2nd is just as good, the 3rd is more pop but just filled with hits, Issues is getting back to introspection with great melodies, more personnal. The rest is in between C and further down... except maybe for one or two (untouchable) who might stay in the B tier.
I would love more album set tier lists! I would swap the untitled album with The Nothing and bump Mirror down and maybe III up, but other than that I tend to agree with you. These last few haven't been great

@@MetalTrenches they were alright Both TPS and TSOS had a simplified art. Untouchables used Excepts from The Here To Stay Video and Korn III Uses An alternate version of the Girl (you don't fully see her tho)
Pretty much agree with all of this, though I actually consider The Nothing S-tier. You name that album and that image immediately comes to mind, even ahead of any of the singles.
Personally, I can’t stand the Serenity of Suffering cover art. I get that they were going for a creepy vibe like the SYOTOS cover, but it’s just hideous in every way. I avoided listening to the album for so long because of the cover art, and it still annoys me whenever a song from it comes on shuffle.
To me Follow the leader will always be #1 both in music and also music. The korn issues cover would come in second to me at least on cover art. The new album cover is terrible, the nothing cover is a cool one I agree.
Really looking forward to listening to Requiem, but I do have to say, it is probably Korn's worst album art to date. It's just so boring, and I don't like that stress ball squeezing thing as you described it. The Nothing and Take a Look in the Mirror are probably the two best IMO, I love how creepy the TALITM art is.

I actually don't find the Path Of Totality cover art that bad. Really dig those metal branches connecting the logo, i love how the light hits it, but on top i gotta say that it is one of my least favorite albums by the band, though i adore the experimentation. Should've rather been an EP than a whole record and i think for that, the cover would've fit better.
I agree on most of the tiers, specially in S, but for me serenity of suffering is just D tier, is so horrible, tryhard and edgy, that for me is even worse than the path of totality o tps (both are just meh, but I prefer to be indifferent rather than cringing for a disgusting album cover), the album cover looks like a rubbish dump with photoshop montage done by a 12 years old, is cringe to look at, specially considering how amazing this album is. Even more offensive is to look how good and well directed are the music videos from this album or the tarot cards concept they used to upload the songs individually, they had all the aesthetic elements to make an outstanding album cover but ruined it. And Requiem for me is B+, is another simple concept but I really like the clever metaphor they choose, not so aesthetically pleasing as the nothing, but much better than all the photographic stuff.
Tbh as far as korn albuns go, anything up until untouchables is A tier for me, i respect opinions, but puttin untouchables bellow something like untitled or even the nothing is just crazy to me, their last 2 albums are just straight up weak than anything else, not only the music lost its identity but the mix is terrible in most of these latest releases. I enjoy listening moderaly to anything after untouchables but these last 2 albums, yikes.

The Requiem cover is actually a stone figure. It's cool how the person made it look so soft but the cover makes it look like a painting or photoshop.
