It's a rumor that Virginia servers have bad hit detection for some reason, especially for melee/spies. There's no definitive proof of it but it's just a running joke at this point, kind of like saying "yeah I beefed that shot because Mercury is in retrograde" or some shit like that
FWIW though, I've gotten hitreg'd on Virginia servers more than any other server location by far. Dunno if it's just confirmation bias or what lol

i think it's kinda funny that the pootis pow is genuinely a reasonable sidegrade to spy. it takes about the same time to execute as uncloaking and backstabbing, people can't stop it by turning around at the last second, and it makes a less ptsd-inducing sound than spy, but heavy has a slower movement speed, making it harder to flank people, and he doesn't have any sappers.
Consider: Use the Holiday Punch, team up with an Übersaw + Kritzkrieg Medic, and just create an infinite loop of "Kritz -> punch enemy -> Medic tauntkills for full uber -> repeat".
It's nice to wake up to a new Soundsmith video.
