I really like this set and I'm surprised something like this hasn't been done years ago. I guess another bonus to this is that you could use the Lego Dimensions figures with this set as well.

A fantastic review (as always) of a brilliant Lego set! I have this set and it is one of my favourites. I'm so glad you liked it. I agree with your criticisms of the size though, I'd love the walls and balcony but that would be extremely costly and consequently would limit the amount of people who could buy it. If you want to change the column to orange, try Bricklink. You can buy pretty much any Lego pieces there! Cheers man! Keep up the great work!

What's fun is incorporating this with the LEGO Dimensions sets. Adding a Cyberman, normal 12, and K-9 really make for a fun display piece. (Still waiting for LEGO David Tennant!)

you forgot to add in the fact that you can add the doctor in the Tardis and close it up so you can make it look like the doctor is traveling. that was my favorite feature that made me make peace with the size difference between the tardis and character.

Not sure why LEGO would but a second face on Matt. Because if you take off the hair and put the fez on, it exposes the second face! Making him look like Voldemort! I don't even know how LEGO let this slide!
it just looks weird without the hair on. Also you can't really make him look like in the scene where he's bald because he certainly didn't have 2 faces
I've just noticed a gap between the top of the Tardis windows and the police box signage...Could this be used in modifying it so you can use the doors like you can in Lego Dimensions?
I modified it by simply switching the panels to the opening side so it looks like the doors are opening. I also added a bottom level (kind of). You can watch my crude modification on my Doctor Who channel (WhoMotion).

I don't believe the time rotar was green in the show, I'm sure it was blue :)
it was a greenish blue.
+Michael Miller It was clearly green. The surrounding metal was a dark silver giving the reflection a blue tint but the actual rotor was green.

I think they could have included some stickers of gallifreyan text that could wrap around the LEGO Technic element at the top of the Time Rotor.

My problem with the set is that the police box is GIANT compared to mini figures. I would have loved it to be minifigure scale
