Hi! Do you think you could do a video where you make a granny square with lavender?

Use a sewing needle and matching thread, simply stitch the lavender onto a granny square.

I'm confused. Unless I read the written directions on the screen wrong, one side says ch4, work down it, the other side says ch3, then work down those. I got to this video through a blog post and using the indicated yarn/hook, mine is curling and 3x bigger than my gnome. The lavender shown in the pics on the blog are super tiny compared to the ones I made here, lol. Either I missed something, or I may have done something wrong, but these are huge, lol.

The lavender was designed in such way that small branches were positioned at an angle to the stem. To achieve this, you need to crochet Ch 4 on one side and Ch 3 on the other side.
In the instructional video, a larger hook and yarn weight #4 were used to make the stitches easier to see. However, for your own lavender gnome project, you should use suitable materials. On the blog, I've listed the recommended materials for this project, which include crochet cotton thread size #10 (I used Aunt Lydia’s cotton thread) and a crochet hook US size 6/1.8 mm.
