0:57: “With the Olympic torch now being lit, today officially marks the kickoff of The Games of the XXXIII Olympiad from Paris, France. More than a million spectators and millions watching LIVE around the world are about to witness what will be the most exciting Olympic Games ever. Hello to you from Studio A at the International Broadcast Center. I’m Summer Sanders along with two fellow Olympic Gold Medalists in their own right: Tara Lipinski and Nadia Comenici, and for the next 17 nights, we’ll be bringing you all the Olympic action from the 100-Meter Dash all the way to the Marathon, and, speaking of which, what better way to kick things off than with the 100-Meter Dash. For the call of the event, here are Nicole Briscoe, Monica Palumbo and Danica Patrick.”-Summer Sanders.
55:52: “And so, we have come to the end of a long and glorious journey. These games began with a stunning and elaborate opening ceremony, and, tonight, after 17 days, the curtain came down. You don’t have to speak a word in French to understand that. It was an honor and a privilege to represent the more than 3,000 talented men and women, both here in France and back in the USA, that make up the Olympic family, and have had the pleasure of bringing these games home to you. We thank all of you for inviting us into your homes the last 17 days, and, on behalf of all of us, and for Nadia Comenici and Tara Lipinski, I’m Summer Sanders, one final time, saying goodnight from Paris and The Games of the XXXIII Olympiad.”-Summer Sanders.
excellent title which I highly recommend, I like the animations and gameplay although my favorite title will always be Crash and the boys: street challenge
Por fin encontré el juego !!! Siempre me llamo la atención la maratón, no entendía nada en aquel entonces. Que manera de romper botones. Gran recuerdo de este juego que es mejor que mucho de los últimos.
@@Dorian_Scott it's better than Track & Field to me because it focuses on athletics, the commands are easier to understand (ie tapping frenzilly on the A-B buttons or using the multidirectionnal cross at the good time).
It's a very cute looking game with the athletes gasping for breath or pounding the dirt. I'd like to see you play the Konami Track & Field game for the PS. It's droll to see the female swimmers celebrating while still wearing their swim caps.
@@NintendoComplete But tbh I was more partial to the burnt ozone that came from those old electric trains... Nintendo had enough of a product that they didn't have to sneak narcotics in their peripherals. Would of been nice if they got the power glove working better, but c'est la vie
This game right here is the reason I whoop any game sequence since that requires frequent button mashing. MGS1 torture sequence has nothing on this games 100m dash 😂
Capcom's Gold Medal Challenge '92 is a solid way to get your 8-bit Olympics kicks.
Instead of watching the Olympics of Paris, I will play this game. Thanks.
Even my country is unaffordable to buy broadcasting rights 😂

This is a legitimately fun party game. I brought my old NES with me to college and I’d get people on the floor of my dorm to play the 8 player mode.

I loved that one! The tightrope unicycles were fun. I've actually got a new playthrough of it coming up soon!
12:04 *HAHAHAHA! I REMEMBER EVERYTIME YOU MAKE A WORLD RECORDS, THE ANNOUNCER GOES FRENZY!😂*
yes ! remarkable!!!
Perfect time for Paris Olympics 👍🏾. Thanks for uploading, have a wonderful day.

JAHJAHJA usted es de wlos mios el marathon era lo q me gustaba mas del juego JAHJAHJAHAJ
This game was so awesome, especially if you had the NES Advantage!!! You could break all sorts of records.
Best Olympic Video Games ever!
Oh my God, flashbacks
Ah ! I played this game so many times !
Far better than Track & Field, but the swimming games were awful to manage ^^
Haven't played either of these. Heard great things about Konami's Track & Field games and Capcom's Gold Medal Challenge *_does_* indeed look good.

Yeah, I think the game would've been better without the swimming.
@@NintendoComplete 😂
sad, i missed this one, always came across track & field, california games, and cave man games.

With the power pad....I HAVE THE POWER!
The power! Do you think it was a byproduct of the fumes of the vinyl pool toy smell, like some sort of stimulant in aerosol form?
@@NintendoComplete
Power comes from within, grasshoppa.
You rack disiprine.

So that's where Nice Code got the assets from....
Brutal NES.
How about this on Nintendo Switch online
*I am surprised to see no Technos Japan Vs. Capcom collaboration* ...
…or, for that matter, no Namco vs. Konami collaboration!

Track and field inspired?
So, it's Epyx's "Games" series but better?
Track & Field Capcom Version LOL
Will you be doing Izzy's Quest for the Olympic Rings next?

first! I'm the first to comment on this video, so I deserve a golden medal too😂😂😂

Boycott Paris Olympics
Wow, imagine a non-woke sports event!
