Most useless lens ever?
Can someone explain to me why in the world is this better than prime lens? Zoom range of this is so tiny.
Good prime lens will have better aperture, half of the weight and size if not less, not mentioning optical quality that will allow cropping exactly same image as from this.
With f1.8 Most videographers would definitely want to use a zoom than a prime
Good question and I am not yet fully sure. However, I can't find any good 28mm lens for a Sony camera. And with clear image zoom, you get a 28-67mm range for video, which would be quite acceptable.
no need change the lens on the street. I use it for street photography.
28mm and 45mm are boring focal lengths. Id rather juat buy a nifty 50 and save the cash. On a side note great work
How can you say that 28 or 45 are boring focal lengths and then naming the most baseline boring focal length that exists? Nothing against a good 50mm but it's nothing exciting, it's a very basic focal length with nothing special about it. Honestly everything is more exciting than a 50mm. 28-45mm is a perfect focal length for fashion and portrait photography on the wider side. Really please don't take this personal I don't mean to attack you, I'm just confused about your statement.
Its not boring if you're indoor and cannot backup through walls lol
