I think it depends on the playstyle, I definitely use more 5*s now that I have a lot of them. Idk about pulling for Hu Tao, I can't really get used to the playstyle in the events they gave us and the animation cancels seem too tricky, so I might as well not pull for her, considering I have other DPSes and for Pyro my Xiangling and Yanfei just feel better. Wish I could get Yoimiya, but she's rumoured to be running alongside Nahida, amd Nahida is the character I'm going to try to get (50/50 is scary)
I remember watching this on Twitch and laughing so hard when he got Keqing first. I’m so sorry my man, but it was sooooo funny!!!! And that one line Cyno said after he wished again had me crying. Still, congrats again my man for getting Cyno, Venti, Chongyun, plus the weapons!

Truly the way the game was ment to be played, and reminds me that we play games for fun and not to fuel our gambling addiction. Though that begs the question in Ganyu's case because she's top tier in both categories.
As f2p you either pull for specific characters or do like I do and pull for everyone until they drop lol It worked for me, I'm missing less than half of the 5* and Dori :b

I built pity by getting c0 Yanfei on 1.5v Zhongli rerun, and Xingqui cons on Eula's first banner run. I got 30k primos and 80 pity for Ayaka. For Albedo's 1st rerun, I built pity on Yoimiya's banner by getting c0 Sayu but, unfortunately, I failed to build pity by pulling Beidou cons on Kokomi's banner by getting Kokomi instead. I still pushed through since, I got Kokomi on my current 80 pity. I pulled for Thoma on Hu Tao's rerun to build 40 pity for Albedo. Thankfully, I won 50/50 and got Albedo on another 50 pulls. I still have like 15k primos at that time and since Itto's banner, after I finished the abyss for the first time using him, I decided to pull for whoever that I deemed to like. So yeah, that pretty much sums up my F2P journey, now I buy Welkin so right after 3.0v, I am no longer F2P. Ngl, that was a fun journey being a F2P.

Same thing happened to me when I was wishing for kokoimi but instead of a 5 star on the 2nd pull it was the first unfortunately I ended up not getting her I just needed 5 more wishes 😭 but idc now bec I have guaranteed nahida and she’s amazing 😎✨

seeing him freak out for venti kinda hits me with a reality check... I won the 50/50 for every character these past two banner events (Ganyu, Kokomi, Venti, and Cyno) and reminds me of the time I lost Kazuha to Mona early, got Kazuha five pulls later, then got Keqing 30 pulls later... all of this before I got Heizou.
