The guy in the red shirt is correct. Normally vulc’s are more heavy but thinner of a sole for better board feel. Also beware most people who use vulcs but skate stairs wear nice additional comfort insoles. So saying they are just wearing the vulcs and taking the brute of big stairs isn’t totally accurate.
One of the better comparison videos out there, great discussion and more than just "it's personal preference", covering things like weight, stability, cost, durability etc Great job man
My brother used to rock globes in a 10W that was back when they were Australian made though, not sure if they still offer it. I have wide feet as well and half size up but wish I could get my favorites in a Wide
Normal sambas are so much better rather than samba advs. The OG samba has leather under the T-Toe suede and mine lasted about 2 months with jessup. I just put shoo goo on high wear areas. OG sambas get a bit too soggy really fast
Odstmlg 42 did you have a really old pair? I had a pair of the regular, not skate sambas and the leather definitely didn't go under the suede toe. I know because I actually blew them out while only using them for soccer. I guess the ball I had at the time must have had some kind of grippy texture because the seam on the inside of my right foot blew out because it would always rub against the ball when I was trying to add inside spin.
@@Lazy_Prophet For me they are.. I use them Delta Forces especially for bmx shit... its been 2 years and I still dont have to buy new shoes. Paid them like 50 bucks
@@Lazy_Prophet Nike are extremely durable thats why I chose them... However even if bmx aint like skating... Keep in mind a pair of shoes can wear pretty quick in both cases
The face of Andrew Reynolds and the voice of Eric Koston
This guy would be great for a podcast, good opions and conversates excellently.

Definitely - this is one of the better comparison videos

Busenitz or Matchbreak?
I have to say Nick is actually really funny
You are the only one I trust about this test
Some good info here, still confused a bit about the difference in construction, and why cant they make cup soles a bit softer with better board feel?
Love the samba adv. feel free to send me yours
what is a good aftermarket insole?
Does anybody make wide skate. Can never find any.

Talking about PJ's shoes, not only are they cups but they're some of the stiffest cups.
I do not know about those, but supra is having some nice models !
Great informative video!
that was very informative! Thanks Guys!
Superglue the stiching
Don't buy skate shoes if they has a lot of stitches vs 1 piece suede!

Nike has some decent skate shoes but they are definitely not the"best of the best".

@@sbek1386 oh, well bmx ain't skating lol, I will say Nike SB are better than Van's, Converse, and Adidas skate shoes though.

Used to rock Nike Koston 1s. Bad ass shoe. Just bought some team shoes from them. Run too slim but not too bad.
The Adidas Samba Vulc is the worst shoe ive ever skated
I know Adidas makes "skate shoes", but most I've seen/felt weren't actually good for skating, I think they're putting more into style than function.
A Swiss guy who pronounces Adidas as Adeedas should be banned from everything in life.
How do YOU pronounce it?
adidaas, just look it up on youtube how german people pronounce it
You just emphasize the first A more
Nah, he pronounced it correctly
Yo first ?
