I remember when this battle was simply unwinnable , back then I was only a begginer and miserably tried to solo this with Cu Alter
Now 4 years (I think?) after I can finally clear it , even without using the event damage CE

What's crazy is that there are THREE sources of buff removal (Jack, Amakusa and Medea) and it still doesn't feel too hard.
The Dark Rounds fight though.....

Tbh I never understood people talk talking about the dark rounds. I beat it first try without looking it up but the MHXX cq in the same event took me 20 tries. Was I just lucky or is it a meme?

@@Truffalot nah , dark rounds is hella tough but becomes easy if you have a strong looper like S.Ishtar so it feels cheesy that way .
But for most they are stuck having to deal with the horrible RNG gimmick which can easily end a run(or so it used to be but in rerun Castoria could save everyone with her NP)...Also , Tristan...just Tristan

This is the first event where I fully committed on making a party for QSH instead of solo because I wanna do the lottery asap, and I gotta admit it's pretty damn good... Now if only I have Merlin that would be perfect.

Haven't beaten the EX version yet, but may try this since i have Mothman max skilled (not grailed beyond 90, though.) Tried picking them off individually at first but couldn't figure out the right order to make the death buffs to the party less devastating. 😅

I cheesed that fight with Morgan Castoria and Merlin to be honest, without those 3 it would have been really difficult the amount of defense up buff and imperial privileg is stupid....

God, have not been able to pass from Amakusa and all because of Jack, I swear she is broken, she has either not attacked when I need her or takes all my buff. And by god your crits look so sure, I missed to arts crits one with 70% and one with 90%. I said fuck it and pulled a brute forcing double koyan with Morgan plus merlin, oberon and chen gong. Eat your def up vs a ignore def CE, 4 tries to get it right. I hate the rng here

This is the EX one , you can see that Nero has 400k+ HP when at the 90++ she has 200k+
